Come on people, it is not hard to read the forum description first before posting. Help reduce the work load of AOP and co, so they can concentrate on finishing MWLL instead of having to repeatedly baby sit people who can't read.

Go to "OTHER GAMES" and post there.

On a positive note, I have played AT1:BT1 beta 2.3, it is cool, but still it is the wrong board to announce and post the links.

All I can say before you go in the Mechlab is: "I hope you memorized Battletech completely."

Yeah. I was far from impressed with it. Not saying it is bad, just that I could not get into it at this day and age.

Game is not to bad,did a great job with an old engine. The let down is how confusing the setup for the joystick operation and the absence of a operators manual.

I like it a lot. Movement wise it feels a lot closer to Battletech than the clunky, stiff movements of MW4. The controls are awkward but nothing that a minute in the options menu cant fix.

Lots of bugs and such but, meh, its a beta.

Looking forward to see it progressing.

Its far from perfect, but its something new and refreshing so I like it. I will admit that it is a bit clunky and takes a lot of getting used to.

I find it ... extremely hard.
When will full game/demo/beta be released?
We're planning a beta release in the next *very* few weeks. At this time, we can't be more specific. Please stop asking.

No, I will not stop asking.

There is lots of hope for this game. But the controls really need to be worked on.

I did enjoy the cockpit for the Mad Dog though.

i tried it too and gave up do to controls- they were just too unintuitive and too hard to set up. other than the difficult controls it seemed pretty good, i hope they have a solution to this in the future- would be fun if it wasn't hard to figure out

The controls are a major complaint about AT1 and I don't understand why...

I went into options and took about 2 minutes to set everything up in a way that I quite enjoy.

Well i guess your the lucky one. I am using the logitech extreme 3D Pro,can't seem to get a handle on what axis to assign to each movement? Have spent at least 1.5 hrs trying different config no luck. IMO if this side of the game is not fixed and controls are not user friendly meaning joystick then this game is toast .

ditto

good luck to anyone else using a game pad <like I am> with a "mode" button.  The control setup thinks I am pressing my button 24 "mode shift" constantly for EACH control....so I cannot use it.

I did, however, map everything to the keyboard in a way that remotely makes sense (kill the default arrows for legs and the ridiculous "hold mouse 3 to torso twist") used the WASD typical setup for legs and went with Q and E for torso twisting...remapped ALL the weapons buttons.

That made it liveable for awhile...lets hope the next update addresses some or all of these issues listed.

No complaints about the MW2 music, however, sounds good.

Nothing is "fixed."  The game is still in a relatively early beta stage. =P
