Seems the day/night thing was pretty easy compared to trees . .
biggest problem with destruction of the environmeant is a huge increase in both load on the computer and bandwidth needed to sent out the data of what got destroyed when, how, by whom and does now look like what and has to interact in what way with the physics of the rest of the game.

It could be that AoP was actually killed and is probably dead in a ditch somewhere...but no worries kids, he'll respawn soon with a message of hope!

I do believe(at least in the forum) the topic on the 14th was posted at ~3am eastern time(about 8 am GMT), so it's still in the wee hours of the morning in Europe.

DX10 adoption is probably to the point where running a DX10 server is much more reasonable than it was 2 years ago. If MW:LL requires DX10  to have destructible trees, I'd be willing to buy a DX10 server so we can all enjoy knocking over trees in our 10 meter tall engines of doom.

DO IT YOU GOOD PERSON!!!!  Seriously when I got DX10 I shat myself I was soooo happy, so I love using things that fully use it, plus when you walk in your mech and you hit a tree I love that satifying crunch

Running a DX10 server will not be required.

sweet! So there is no reason to run a DX10 server then? Cause deformable terrain is the only feature I knew of.

Crysis (and this mod) does not support deformable terrain, so no.

sorry, I meant "deformable terrain" as knocking down trees, lamp posts, and other smash-able objects. It's been a while since I've played Crysis MP. but I distinctly remember there was some kind of DX10 vs. DX9 limitation in that regard.
