Got the game on PC.  It is a solid shooter very twitch based combat.

I must be getting old cause it's so hard for me to pick out the enemies in multiplayer.

Overall a solid buy at or under 39.99.  Not really a $60 game though.

I'll add on here, as of right now there is no communication in-game what so ever, but supposedly that is being worked on.

The servers are........ not really servers. It's like MW2 without the chat and voice.

I'm going to wait 2 months or so for it to inevitably go on sale.

I HATE the fact there's no servers.  Just got dropped from 3 games where we were in the last min of being done and the host leaves!  All that work for NO xp.  Pisses me the HELL OFF>

Haven't seen this game on shelves in Australia yet... has it been released here already and I haven't noticed?

hmm some of the stuff i read says it might not be on sales for PC in AU.  Not totally sure though.  It was release in the US on June 23rd

I won't say the game is amazing, because it's not.  It's not anything new, really.  Truly, it felt like Gears of War with Transformers voiceovers, but that's not a bad thing in this case.  It also gave a compelling backstory for the destruction of Cybertron, backed by superb voice acting.  Seriously, the first time Optimus says "Autobots, roll out!", you'll be fighting back a little tear. 

Try it, if only for the simple reason that it's the only good thing to come out of the Transformers franchise in the last ten years.  Those of you who liked the movies and gobbled up all the CGI explosions supported by shitty one-liner dialogue, and cheered while my childhood was molested in front of me, go kill yourself.  Do it now, and spare the rest of us from your idiocy.

some people have public vent servers up, you can find info on how to unlock the FPS, customize keys...

yes, it's a straight up console port, which is awful, but it's still a great game.

ugh...  the steam T:WFC community has gotten utterly fapping retarded.  If anyone is up for some gg's in T:WFC, my steam is rivanthe5th and ingame I'm CITABRIA.

the lack of dedicated servers isn't a bad thing.  Cant zero ping net code with dedicated from what I understand.  Also, dedicated servers tend to do better for large games, 10v10 etc....  T:WFC is 10player matches (5v5) max.  The problem is that there is no server list for us to pick and chose who we want to play with.

Basically, the game automagically finds matches for you.  You cant even create a match.  You click "find match" and it will either put you with one thats made already, or it'll make you the host.  You have no say in the process.

I am familiar with that system. Its the reason modernwarfare2 is no a frisbee for my kids. No dedicated means no control. No control means play with random asswhipes and hackers and have no recourse. fappem if they can give me dedicated servers.

Well, the last transformer game turned out to be very good, but still the movie is better, it has lots of action and the thing is that you can actually feel that it is so real in the movies, having everything so massively huge. But in the game, it doesn’t show any impact at all. It just seems like they are a few normal sized transformers fighting around. Hopefully they will do better this time, I’ll definitely give this game a go.

War for cybertron is completely unrelated to the movies and is done by a completely different studio.  The setting is Cybertron so everything is "right sized" for the transformers.

I am here to officialy say. Transformers: War for Cybertron, is dead to any multiplayer concerned person(s).

At max the last month, there have been 100 players on. I love the idea of this game. But the fact that it was just a money making no nothing game keeps buzzing in my ear.
