I've noticed in several games that I have the highest score, yet I'm not actually ranked #1 on my team.

What's with that...?    Is it because I'm doing a lot of damage, but often, someone else is making the final kill...?

If so, it seems somehow 'not quite right' that the player doing the most damage is less recognized than the player who shows up late and delivers the coup de gras after someone else's hard work stripping away the armour.

I'd appreciate if anyone could clarify the relationship between scoring/ranking for me, thanks.

PS: still enjoying the game hugely, thanks.

I know there are a lot of posts on this one, but if you don't make the kill shot.  Why should you get the credit?  If you do 51% damage, should you be able to walk away and fight another target? And when someone does 49% you get the big bonus for the kill?

Also, what if you're killed in the meantime.. the amount of damage you do is irrelevant if you can't finish the target off.  I had Highlander run off on me twice just last night before I could finish him.  I wouldn't have minded someone getting the kill shot as long as he didn't get away from me twice like that. :P

Yes, kill 'stealing' can be annoying, but for fans of the game and genre its about fighting with your team and enjoying the experience.  I really look forward to what the game can be in the long run.

My 2 cents. :)

My question is more about saKhan, and Khan.... are only 1 of each allowed per team? I sat at GC for a full 30mins last night, and lead my team in kills and points, yet never got promoted. The players below me surpassed me in rank. Heck some guy left the game, came back, joined my team (he was on the other side before he left) and was automatically Khan..... yet was only SCM when he quit????
