Public TeamSpeak Server to play and talk with devs
« on: December 27, 2009, 01:36:31 AM »
Quote
Hi
I just have an 50 slot ts2 server and my old Warcraft clan isn't using this one anymore.
And i am ready to upgrade it to 100+ if needed Smiley

The server is hosted by http://www.LAN4play.DE/ .

I'm looking for someone with good englishskills to support the English part of the community!

There are 3 rules

Quote
§1 Be friendly.
§2 Use Push-to-Talk. )
§3 Don't burp or fart into the mic Wink

I think it shouldn't be a problem to follow this rules Wink

I'm also ready to create your own clanchannel. ( For free of course Wink  )

Here the login data:
Quote

IP: 80.190.208.38:8795
or
ts-27.LAN4play.DE:8795

No password

when you want to register or to create your own channel, just contact me over Icq ( 153462996 ) or TS.

And sorry for my bad English Wink

Greetings
Lifeforce

maybe you should make that a quote so people don't think it's YOUR Server Criminy ^^
'any kind of discussion of randomness ALWAYS WILL EQUATE to being able to critically hit a mech's reactor by firing a micro beam laser while facing 80 degrees to the side, shooting the ground, which would cause a random explosion which would randomly crit his entire team's reactors which would randomly cause the server itself to explode which would randomly generate a strange quark which would randomly hit the earth and randomly randomness randomfapp the shit fapp random!'

Great call on the teamspeak servers guys.

Can't wait to get on and coordinate some tag-lasering via VOIP.

Hopefully you can change this over from TeamSpeak 2 (which is horrible) to TeamSpeak 3?

I think Mumble is a better client/server voip program than ts2 or 3, give it a go

Voip is the way to go. From what I'm reading teamwork is the only way to enjoy this game and not feel frustrated by being dominated by the LRM boats and Aerospace.

If you think TS2 is poor, don't get your hopes up on TS3. I'm using TS3 for the BF2 tourney I play in and its not user friendly if all you want to do is voice chat.

I hope to get the game working tonight (having trouble with logging in). If I can find a few players, I do have a TS2 server that I can post an IP for. Its always empty, but I don't know how many we can get on it.

It's not about the user friendlyness.  It's that TS 2 sounds worse than a tin can and some string.

Teamspeak 2 server for use by anyone who needs a place to hang their mech gear.

It is sponsored by NinjaServe.Org.  Whom also sponsors some BF2/BF1942 Mods. Like Eve of Destruction to name one.  In either case, we don't have much of a community anymore, so our teamspeak server sits idle with just me and Rexalot usually upon it now.  For anyone who does not have access to one who needs a place to hang out. We sure would welcome the company:

Can someone explain to me how this works?  If I use TS2 with a particular ts2 server, how does it know who to send the sound to?  How does it know what game I'm in or what team I'm on?

Is the public VOIP server still around? I made a post offering my ventrilo server in the community content thread but i had not seen this thread before i did. Even still Ventrilo is much better then TS2 or 3 imo, but i don't want to step on any toes. Somone please let me know what the status is on this and if my vent server could be helpful or not.

Skype!
People are stupid if they think they can have their own way.

... that is, unless they have HEAP rounds, high-explosive homing missiles, and terawatt lasers on a walking weapons platform, that is...

As far as I can tell, this server is down. Not sure if it was taken down due to lack of usage, or if the connection info has changed.

Anyone?
I want more heavy gauss in my life.
