some bugginess for sure, esp sound and general crashing, but that aside it's pretty sweet driving a mech once more. lost track of time, it's way later than i thought it was.. that hasn't happened to me while playing a game in a long while

very good though as far as mech fighting goes, all the elements i hoped to see are there. being able to flush coolant midfight to keep the PPCs firing is both awesome and gives you an edge in a toe to toe fight
as a general overview for those who haven't played yet:
gamplay-wise it has lots of mechs as well as tanks/hovercraft/aeros you can drive/fly around. each mech has 4 loadouts you can choose from in the buy menu at the base you spawn at. the loadouts seem to cover short range/long range/hybrid options for each mech decently well, and pretty much all the weapons (and more) i remember from the previous games were in there so there's plenty of variety in them, as well as variations on the extra equipment from heat sink quantity, jumpjets, advanced optics, etc. they have varying costs- you spawn with 20k at the very beginning of the round then by doing damage and killing things you earn more money and progress in rank. increasing your rank ups your minimum spawn cash amount, so as the round progresses you'll move up the mech foodchain and wind up in atlases and the like towards the end.
as far as gameplay critiques at this point my biggest complaint are the elementals- they're what you spawn in and if you eject that's what you have. normally they really shouldn't be much more than a small annoyance to a full sized mech since you can 1 shot them basically, but due to either crysis' net code or server lag i could almost never kill those things if some dude was circle strafing me at point blank range. on my screen the laser would connect but no damage would register. it takes them a long time (like a few minutes) to do real damage to a larger mech but never-the-less they're kind of like an itch you can't quite scratch. (the only time i killed one at close range was when he flew in front on my twin PPCs that i was aiming at a tank 300 meters down field at the wrong time)
all in all though
pretty extremely awesome, will be playing a lot more tomorrow after i get some sleep
