Corrupt Files
« on: December 27, 2009, 05:25:01 AM »
Upon extraction i get the error that my objects folder is corrupt.

I am able to play the game, but I have not been able to connect to any servers.

do i need to re download the client, or is there anything else I may do?

*note* all the download servers are now down. I really would like to fix this.

if you're still getting a corrupt error, I'd redownload, from another source if you are able.  You may need to be patient because everyone's trying to download it.

Are you getting the error when you are unzipping? If this is the case and you are using WinZip I recommend a change to 7zip. During the potential beta build tests we did I would always get errors using WinZip and that issue would be resolved by using 7zip even on the same file WinZip gave errors on.

yes, 7zip or winrar are the best to use for extracting.

If you have a corrupt archive don't want to re-download the entire thing again, check out my post here.
