Gremlich - check actionmap.xml yourself, do a search for joyaxis_y and you will probably find it assigned somewhere it shouldn't be.

Manually modifying actionmaps is necessary for the time being (until capperdeluxe splits the important controls out of the vehicle section like throttle and such) but can lead to gremlins hiding in the original file. This was my problem earlier.

Thanx, I understand the issue with the actionmaps and the ONLY thing I'm really entitled to is frustration associated with my own ability to "think" the problem through. The MWLL staff have been champions!

I've managed to get rid of the y-axis issue and my z-rot works and now there's just a little fine tuning with the x-axis left.

what I have for binding that was complicating things was using the (X) y and (X) z controls for the mouse. Once I switched to the proper binding setting, the z-issue went away and the y-axis ceased to control that rotation issue. I also set the Logitech profile to its default settings.

Sooo, anybody have an idea of how to get the x-axis to stop once I stop actuating the joystick left or right? I'll turn, then center the JS, but the vehicle (whether mech or tank) keeps moving another 5-10 degrees in the direction I was going in.

Is that a function of the x-rotation or x-axis? sensitivity probably and not the deadzone?

Cheers

Hi all,

Trying to sort a niggling joystick issue regarding axis inversions:

Aerospace:  Roll is correct, but yaw and pitch are backwards.
VTOL:  Yaw and roll are correct, but pitch is backwards.
Mech:  Chassis turn and torso turn are correct, but pitch is backwards.

This happens irrespective of what I set in actionmaps.

System details: W7U-64, Saitek X52.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, and let me know if you need more details.

Using the actionmapper there's an inverse checkbox to the right side of the right panel (joysticks only) where you set your control, you may need to resize the panel if its hidden

I'm trying to run JoyToKey and it works great in notepad but as soon as I launch the joystick dies.

Am I missing something?

Hello, brand new here. I had actually gotten my Logitek 3d Pro working in game by pointing the Profiler at Crysis Wars in the Steam folder. Then I added CCC and now the joystick doesn't work. Why would changing the graphics settings effect the joystick? It's probably unrelated but it's the only thing that I changed.

Also, is there a post count you have to reach to see attachments? Because in all the posts that say they are posting their profiles I can't see any files.
