**** Crash Trending ****

If your experiencing a crash that doesn't allow you to play the game what-so-ever, we need to know whats causing the crash, so we'll start a trending thread below to let us know what conditions others having to see if there's a trend.

So to do so, please include the following:

***What installation type did you use?

Steam, DVD/CD, Electronic Arts Download Manager other?

***What crysis versions do you have installed?

Crysis Wars, Crysis Warhead, or Crysis standalone?

*** System Specs

CPU
Graphics Card
Sound Card
Operating System
Motherboard
Monitor
Anti Virus installed

*** What causes your crash, describe what happened

*** Can you play the game at all?

***How often does this occur?

EDIT: It seems there may be a fix for the people that can't get the game to play what so ever. Another user pointed out that he was using an anti virus and when he shut it down, the mod worked like a charm. So be sure to try and disable your Anti Virus before playing.

*** What causes your crash, describe what happened
The game will crash randomly while in game. Nothing causes the crash to my knowledge, but gameplay will last anywhere from a few seconds to 20+ minutes. CTD will occur and an error will pop up stating Crysis.exe has stopped working

*** Can you play the game at all?

Yes, but for a limited amount of time.

***How often does this occur?

So far, every time I have played.
In addition to the crash, I receive a NO CD error after loading the map, at 100% load time, the error will occur, stating I don't have a CD in. However, I DO. It will minimize the game, but I can restore the game and continue playing. This also, occurs EVERYTIME.

*** What causes your crash, describe what happened
They seem to happen for a couple of reasons. Some were sound-related, so I turned off music, voices, and voice-over-IP and those crashes went away. The others seem time-related. After a certain amount of time, I can expect the game to crash. Nothing specific triggers these.

*** Can you play the game at all?
Yes, and it's awesome

***How often does this occur?
I expect the crash after 25 to 40 minutes of gameplay.

Anywhere between crashing right as it loads up to being able to play an entire round. Most of the time within 10 minutes. I have yet to transition to another round. Even if I play the entire round, it crashed right as one ends.

It will crash everytime I play. Usually around 10 minutes. I have yet decided to stop playing before I crash :) :-\.

*** What causes your crash, describe what happened

No rhyme or reason to the crash. Sometimes I can play the game for 20-30 minutes without any problems before suddenly crashing, other times I'll crash shortly after loading in the game (actual game, not the server lobby). The game will appear to freeze, and I'll have to do a ctrl-alt-del to bring up the task manager so I can get back to the desktop. Windows reports that the game stopped working (obviously), but can't give specific details. Event viewer reports this:

Faulting application name: Crysis.exe, version: 1.1.1.6156, time stamp: 0x47d6d167
