Windows flashes the Window "Crysis caused an error and will be shut down." Than I am back on the desktop.

On servers with high pings and more players, it seems the game crashes more often. Pending between 2 and 10 minutes. When I'm joining a server with a lower ping an less players, will be possible I can play up to an hour or more, without crashing.

Game loads to 100% then crashes to desktop either, so far it has done it either before the game loads or right after.

I had 100K (was hard to get) I was getting ready by hiding behind a hill and the game crashed. I have just crashed again while trying to stop on a hill

Crashed again this time i lost connection in a game while in a mech when the server came back the game went to night mode and the games crashed had to ctrl alt delete.

Also if you go into window mode to say check email or msn when you come back into the game the floor in the hanger bay goes funny you fall through and can't buy anything. going into system settings and enabling full screen and vsync works but you can then drive through walls kind of

Note:  I have the HOTFIX installed.

Crashes improved significantly.  I've played very long games instead of crashing every couple of minutes.

However:

I have my audio quality in Crysis set to Low.  I figured since things were going great since the Hotfix was released, I would try High Quality audio again.

Big mistake!  Once I turned on High Quality audio I started crashing like crazy again.  If I turned it off and restarted Crysis, it would _still_ crash like crazy until I turned it back to low and then rebooted windows and started MW:LL again.  Once I did this and was back to low audio quality, the game ran great again.

I am using 32-bit XP, Direct X9 w/hacked option to give me DX 10 graphic detail levels.

I switched out my GTX 285 for an 8800 GT and the crashing went away! I also saw much more consistent framerates and no stuttering in the hangar area with the 8800 GT, go figure. Maybe the GTX 285 isn't getting enough power or it could just be dying. Who knows.

All crysis patches and MWLL hotfix installed.  Going to try updating gfx drivers and turning off AVG.  Will update after attempts.


UPDATE!!!:
After updating GFX drivers to Catalyst 9.12 and turning off AVG Resident Shield, I was able to successfully connect to an empty dedicated server and run around for a while.

Also, in the interest of full information, I pre-deleted the shaders folder after playing normal crysis (fresh install, first level) and before I tried MWLL.  When it finally loaded after I tried the above, it did the whole "yellow boxes" thing.

UPDATE 2:
Now able to play the game, but I seem to be getting the "crash after 5 mins or so" type problems.

I press the space button to jump and it crashes to desktop. This happens with the dude that you start with when you begin the server. Doesn't happen in mechs/vehicles.

1) When I first downloaded MWLL I just installed it into my existing Crysis folder, copied actionmaps.xml over, and got 100% black screens followed by crashes to desktop.
2) I then uninstalled Crysis, Crysis Wars, and Crysis Warhead, then reinstalled Crysis alone.  I immediately installed all patches (1.1, 1.2, 1.21 in that order) and checked that Crysis ran okay.
3) I installed MWLL into the new Crysis directory and updated actionmaps.xml; I still got a black screen followed by CTD every time.
4) Although I had replaced the actionmaps.xml file I had not deleted the shaders directory - something I found mentioned deep in a forum posting on another site - and doing so fixed the crashing issue.

Random times while playing. Some games I can play for 40+ minutes then crash, other times it is in the 1st few minutes of game play, but it does happen every time I play the game.

Every time I play. Other data points collected:
1. Player size on server does not seem to matter that much, I.E. it happens on full 32 player servers and on servers with less than 12
2. I seem to be able to play longer before crash if I primarily only use missiles
3. 1st round after joining a server for me I seem to have most of the sounds I.E. missile locking tone, mech walking, other weapon sounds etc. but usually after the death and respawn I no longer get all of those sounds. In fact I don't think I have gotten missile lock tone after the 1st round ever.
4. I seem to be able to play longer on Sandstorm, for some reason.
5. I have tried deleting the "Shader" dir
6. Every time it crashes event viewer posts the following: Faulting application crysis.exe, version 1.1.1.6156, faulting module mwll.dll, version 1.0.0.1, fault address 0x0021d5ec.

I am blown away by the quality and detail in this MOD as well as the fun game play mechanics, that I am enjoying up until it crashes and I restart the game and jump right back in  
I am looking forward to more updates/fixes and want to give mad props for the work you have done here!

*UPDATE* 1/8/10
Last night I was able to play with out a crash for over an hour and actually stopped playing by choice for 1st time last night.  Later in evening I was able to play again with out crashing.  I have changed nothing on my end, so I am a little curious.  I did not see any news about steam updating crysis so I have no idea what changed.
