Crud well I just finished making a post talking about a crash and saw this... Sorry guys!    Heres my post.

Okay first of all I love the mod its amazing. 

Now to get on with the crashes. I downloaded the mod and it crashed the first time I launched it. I thought "Hey its a mod crashes happen". I launched it a second time and it worked.    But when I was ingame it wouldn't let me join any servers because (due to me not updating) Crysis was out of date.    So I closed the game and updated. Now that I was up to date I launched the game again ( I downloaded the patch from crytek.com ) and was able to join a server. I ran around getting familiar with the game and so on. Another player joins and we go at it having some fun but then after about an hour or so of playing the game crashes.  I relaunched the game and it crashed when I clicked on the "Internet Game" tab in multiplayer. I thought oh well and went to sleep. I woke up did my thing and when I went to launch the mod this morning the thing loads like normal and crashes at the tab again... I thought "Okay just another crash" but the game keeps on crashing now. It will either freeze at the "Internet Game" tab or it will freeze on the loading screen while trying to either create a game (I tried this just to see if I could play) or while trying to join a server. I have probably tried starting the game 30 times to get around the error restarted my computer and closed all the programs that might cause a problem with the mod and it still won't launch.  I am running Windows 7 64 bit. I bought the game as the "Crysis Maximum Edition" on DVD

Okay I reinstalled Crysis and the mod only updating to 1.2 and the mod works fine but as soon as I applied 1.21 the mod started crashing and not working. There must be a connection?

It seems as if the damn 1.21 update ruins my game. It works fine before I update but after I do it just starts crashing all over the place...

Yup, been doing so for weeks. The crashing only increased in frequency this last week.

Started happening last week, crashes once every 3/4 games. Before this i had a crash maybe once every few days of gameplay.


- Update:
Just testing a few games. Played a full 80min game on inferno, zero crashes.  Then another 80min on extremity with no crashes. Then later i play SA_marshes and it crashes twice in 40 minutes. All my other crashes were here aswell.. Seems my comp hates this map since last week. No idea why.

Windows 7 Permission issues. It's not something we have access to. Solutions to this are floating around in the forums.

Nothing in particular. It just seems to CTD randomly without a given cause. I don't even get any errors.

Yeah perfectly fine, until I crash.

Occurred 3 times since I installed it about an hour ago.

Additional note:
I only crashed once back when I had the 4850x2+4850 setup, worked perfectly fine otherwise (apart from the mad microstutter...). This was back in version 0.1.0 though, haven't been playing for a while.

Also to note, I can run Crysis without a hitch for days.

I tried playing again last night. Worked flawlessly, apart from a little hiccups every now and then.

When I start the client, the screen goes black, and 15 seconds later I get a dialog that says "Crysis has stopped running"

Remove your crysis profile entirely and start from scratch. Also disable your virus scanner to ensure its not doing something stupid.
