-HUD i personally like our HUD, it has gone through several revisions and honestly it feels optimized for our game.  we are open to suggestion though and will take a close look at your comments.

-Zoom i am not one of the programmer devs but i have a feeling that what is currently in for the zoom is likely best for performance and to change it would be a huge ordeal.  its something on the lower priority list you might say.

-Mech custom load outs i do agree its a must for a mech game.  its planned but its something that's going to take a considerable amount of time to add in and balance. 

-Cockpits cockpits definitely took the back-burner for beta and we wanted to finish off all the exterior mech models first.  the interiors add to the excitement of playing the game for the first time and jumping into each new mech and seeing whats inside.  we definitely want to get the most out of that enjoyment and plan to add in cockpits for ALL the mechs that are to a similar quality to the Madcat and Owens cockpits.  the current Uller cockpit placeholder gets in the way and i hate it.  hopefully we can fix up some of the other cockpits with similar problems soon. 

WE NEED MODELERS!  if your a good modeler/texture artist and see this please apply to the dev team!

-Head movement we have talked about this among the devs before and how it relates to the amount of detail we could add into the cockpits.  it would be cool but honestly i don't think its really think its possible.  we are already hitting our texture memory limit and we don't even have all the cockpits in yet.  so if we lock off the camera we can make a small area of high detail in the cockpit we save ourselves a LOT of work as well as performance.  with the amount of guys working on cockpits (just one, gibbage) we really just cannot spend the amount of time to add anything of a higher detail.

good comments i don't want you to feel like I'm just shutting down your ideas at every turn but there are many good reasons behind much of whats happened thus far.  we will work on the HUD, cockpits, and Mech custom load outs for sure but those other things are on a lower priority and i wouldn't expect them to change soon.

I actually love the mech/tank hud right now, I just don't understand why the BA hud is sparse compared?  As someone who spends more time as a BA than anything else (I love it :P) communicating awareness to other people is more difficult as a BA than anything else.

To the OP, if you want it to look like mech3 why not just go play mech3, seriously games move on evolve, drop out 'features' of other previous games and gain others ... just because it's your favourite and what you are used to doesn't mean they will drop everything to make it the way you want it.

Andybozo, what type of modellers/t-artists are you looking for?  I am currently employed as a environmental artist (2d/3d) at the moment and if you guys need anything just let me know and I can make it up and just mail/upload the models somewhere to help out getting things looking better for you guys.  Would be nice to give something back rather than just taking the mod and complaining about it :)

I never said I wanted the whole thing to be like MW3.

I was merely stating that some of the features of MW 3 seemed better implemented. I am entitled to my opinions, and never said that I was not open to change. I also started off saying that I do indeed love the beta, and that these points of mine were only a few things that I felt could be changed. They are only my opinions, and are only directed at small parts of the game itself.

They explained their reasoning behind the gameplay mechanics they used, and now that I have seen their side of it, I must say I agree.

I am sure that everyone on this forum is mature, there is no need to be condescending to another user because of their opinions.

Yeah the BA HUD is heavy WIP.  It's simply not been worked on as much as the mech hud, and the mech hud isn't even done yet itself.
