MWLL in Sandbox 2

Hi,

is there a way to use MWLL in Sandbox Editor?
There is this "Change to Mod" but if i try to load MWLL nothing changes.

You cannot run the Beta1 in the Editor without the .cry file for the maps! .cry files will not be released to the public.

I don't want to use the maps just some fun on my own map :P

But i have already found out how to start the game in Sandbox 2.

I just had to start the Editor.exe with -mod mwll just like the normal crysis.

So is this not accurate?

That said you can always load up the editor using the mod (same as doing it for the game except using the editor.exe instead of crysis.exe), load up a crysis map, and start messing around :)

It is accurate. You can load the mod in the sandbox, you just can't load any of our levels in sandbox.

Actually.... Yes and No....

You cant get the .cry files because they aren't being released and if they were that would tac on another 3-5 gigs to build so... yea!

But if you do want to run the editor with the MWLL Build you can navigate to your crysis folder, find the Editor.exe right click, send to desktop, once its on the desktop right click the Icon and hit properties. Go to the target Line and after the text type " - mod mwll" this will now launch the editor using the mwll mod.  So it should look like this "....\Editor.exe" - mod mwll"

You can place mechs down by navigating to the Entities folder in the Rollup bar, placing the entity where you like, then select the entity again, on the side bar look for Modification, you can type either "prime" "a" "b" or "c" (for the different loadouts) then hit enter. Once you've done that you navigate to "Tools" on top window menu, and hit "Reload Scripts" VIOLA! You have a mech! Enjoy!

Cool thanks i was wondering about that.

But there are so many Tanks not used in the Beta :( why? They seem to work pretty well.

It's fun to get a chance to run around in the different mechs, but the AI doesn't respond to you in any meaningful way. They know you're there, presumably because you're crashing through the environment, but they AI can't "see" you and none of your weapons do anything. Oh, well.

call me thick or something..but for the life of me..i cant locate the mech entity to place on the map...
possible of a step by step guide ?

IS Commander 1 : What Clan Mech weigh's 200 ton , with the top speed of a snail and has 70 tons of weapons & armor ...?
IS Commander 2 : No idea .....but i propose we nuke the SOB from space & move on to the next planet.

Mechs are located under "Vehicles" in the entity button of the rollup bar.

Place the mech you want down, in it's modifier tab inside rollupbar settings for the mech put in "prime", "a", "b", or "c" to set the variant you want the mech to have, then right click the mech you placed in the world and click "reload scripts"

That will spawn the mech.

theres a space  in the command

its should be

D:\Games\Crysis\Bin32\Editor.exe -mod mwll

so, can level designers allready make custom maps for MWLL? i have a little experience, i might make one of my own if it is possible. do we just place the mech/air factories on a landscape or is something else involved?
