Hails Clanners!

Just thought I'd try to spread the word about the best of the MW series -- Mechwarrior 2. Despite being released in 1995, MW2 still has a (relatively) strong community based around mech2.org. You can download a working version of Netmech, for free, which can play on newer machines.

Interesting. Should I DL the game or use my still mint condition CD that has been sitting in a golden sleeve on my golden MW mantle?  :o

Ahh, Mechwarrior 2... Remembering it makes me nostalgic and wanting to reinstall my Titanium Trilogy. 8)

I just realized that I also have the MW2 Mercs expansion. GO ACTIVISON! (At least I think that's the company [not looking at the disk now])

Mechwarrior 2 was pretty much my first real game; played it like crazy back on my old beige box computer. Was terrible at it though, I couldn't get past the first couple missions.

Does Netmech require the original CD?

Nice, I may have to give this a shot. I pretty much only play mw4 mercs online now but I'd love to give mw2 mercs a try :)
