I have been going through the weapons xml's in the game data pak file, looking at damage/shots/reload time etc to determine DPS and heat per second and I found a few numbers which looked like they might be wrong.
1) In the UAC2, UAC5, CUAC2 and CUAC5 files the nbShots="5", whereas I would have expected that value to be 2 as the ultra cannons are meant to fire 2 shots. EDIT - The larger guns (UAC10, UAC20, CUAC10,CUAC20) all show 2 shots as expected.
2) The second thing that surprised me was that the Clan SRM 6 does the same damage per missile as a normal SRM(150) but takes longer to reload. It has no additional range, ammo or any other advantage. It doesn't seem to produce more heat either, so its effectively a slightly worse SRM6 due to its higher reload rate, so its damage output is simply lower.
May or may not be problems (I am after all just back engineering the data) just putting it out there in case they might be bugs.
