Why were happy to grump!

I think this is appropriate considering where we are in the mod's life cycle and work put in so far.

Sometimes it is just the right time to take a step back, realize were passionate about this because what we have is so very great, and we are fanatical supporters that care deep down from the bottom of our hearts.

So, please choose one of the above and comment as you feel lead. :)

Thanks for giving us something so wonderfull to argue about oh Devs!

ps. We will gladly start a Paypal donation fund for beer and munchies for those long lonely nights of feature development and bug smushing ;)

One oh us is gonna end up pushin up daises, and I just be known that I got a black thumb roud the garden.

I agree here, if we often seem nitpicky and bitch is because we don't really have any big issues to complain about. I don't know if i've seen one bug that's not either fixed/fixable or planned for the near future/beta2/release.

I'll link to what i wrote on my blog about MW:LL.. which pretty much sums it up. "I’ll start this up by saying this, “MechWarrior: Living Legends is to the Mechwarrior franchise what Black Mesa Source is to Half Life.” Click here.

I have to chime in here with an enthusiastic supportive "yes!"

My own background tells me that being a dev - for the most part - is a very thankless job, especially if you actually DO read the forums, which most people will assume you don't, since all dev decisions are of course idiotic, poorly informed, totally disconnected from the game, and done out of your ....you get the idea.

This mod is an outstanding, groundbreaking piece of work. In my own case, it still drives me crazy because I crash 3-4 times an hour (woe is me and then some! :( ) but I still keep coming back to it and I'm a slavering dog waiting for the next crash hotfix.

I play pod-based, large-simulator Battletech once or twice a week and I love it, and while this isn't the same thing, this is definitely a solid, nearly equally appreciable experience. Outstanding work, and I wish my background were less creative/correctional and more code/programmer, because I'd happily roll up my sleeves and dig in to help with this kind of effort.

Great work, outstanding job, keep it up. Much respect.
Weakness is not purity; strength is not villainy. The ability to take control of a situation is not confidence, it is prudence. Recognize your strengths and magnify them. Recognize your weaknesses and respect them. This is the way of excellence.

Its truely awesome and epic and all that goodness, i think a lot of ppl feel like me and that the only way they can help is by reporting the bugs they find. Theres no annoyance or bad feelings in bug reports, just a feeling of appreciation and doing any little thing you can to help the devs.
