Ok i am haveing yet another issue with the sandbox, this one i thought would be fairly simple.

How does one have a sun with stars at night without turning the sky tint blue.

This is great stuff.  I'm really liking all the possibilities here.

Snap to grid is fine for aligning objects as long as they are laid out straight North/South or East/West.  If you are building a wall that is at an angle, even .125 isn't fine enough to to keep your wall sections lining up perfectly.  Like I said, I do use it for things like curbs, where I can line them all out, group them and then rotate them the way I want.  I remember how excited I was when I first learned to turn off snap to grid and I could actually make sections of pipe line up.  I know it can be a helpful tool, but it is too limiting for me.  I usually just let my walls overlap a bit at the end anyway, then group the wall sections and merge static geometry to get rid of the flashy texture you get when things overlap.  I'm sure a lot of people like to use snap to grid, but it usually just leaves me unhappy with the tiny imperfections in alignment.

I completely understand your view on this Savl and agree in many regards. I'm one to use the snap in general to get thing started and then tweak things afterwards without if needed. The biggest thing I was fighting was the inprecise  of using the mouse to resize things. In this case, I was scaling the dropships in the Glacier map by 20% or 1.2 of it's originating size. While the exact of what it was didn't matter to me in the end, I need to make all 4 dropships the same as well as the assests within it. Anyhow, thank you very much for your assistance as always. If I can help you or the deb team with anything grunt work oriented, let me know. And on that note, I will be PM'n you in need of help on my ToD again. I'll explain later when I do that. Off to work outside for a few while it's clear and I can see. Catch you all later!

You want sun day and night?  Do you want the same sun, but with stars, or a different looking sun than the one in the daytime.

I think the easiest approach might be to replace your moon image with a sun image and then adjust your night light settings to fit what you want.  If you go that route, make sure your image is located in your map folder.  If you have my Palisades map, you can look at the moon image in that folder to see how I did it.  It's pretty simple though, just a black background with your sun centered on it.

Ok no heres an issue i have been haveing for awhile now and cant find a solution anywhere on any forum.

When i create a custom object i load it and then apply the material just fine i save the map then comeback to work on it later and BAM the material now renders invisible.

I save both the objects and the material in the  crysis>game>objects folder.

Rename the material before you close the map.  It is the only way to save the material file.
