I use the throttle steps on number pad personally. Take Clearcut as an example, I'll nose down about 30 degrees toward the runway wall, as I cross it I cut power to 60% and level out, then 40% as I enter over the runway, nose up and 20% throttle will semi stall/flare the nose, and 10% as I touch down. Back to 20% to get to the hangar, 10% as I enter, X to stop, and repair.
