Joystick problem
« on: January 18, 2010, 01:05:38 AM »
So I've been using my joystick to play since I installed the mod, and it was working fine yesterday, but now when I get in game it doesn't respond at all.  Checking it out via control panel and the little joystick application that was included in the mod, says it's still working fine.  Is there a way to enable/disable the joystick in game?

You have to alter your actionmaps.xml file for it to work  :P

I am also still trying to figure how to get my joystick up and running.  :'(

That shouldn't be the problem.  I used the example joystick actionmap that the mod came with and my joystick has been working without any issue until today.  It's like no joystick input is coming across in game.

I think I might have disabled the joystick in game somehow by accident.  Can anyone shed some light on this issue?

I've already tried to reinstall the mod, but that didn't help.

Well I just solved my joystick issue.  I guess crysis doesn't like it when you have another game pad hooked up.  I connected my PS3 controller to my computer to charge (since my computer is usually on while my PS3 isn't) and forgot that it was connected.  So while it was connected, it looked like Crysis disabled my joystick.  I just unhooked the PS3 controller and now my joystick is working again.

So if you are having an issue where you cannot get your joystick to work and you've already replaced the actionmaps, make sure you do not have another gamepad plugged into your computer.
