We need more Hovercrafts in there.
There's 3 different Thread-Tanks, but only one Hover.
Also, what i REALLY wanna see in the next update?
FIXING THE GODDAMN VARIANTS SO THE FIRST DEFAULT WEAPONS GROUP IS NOT EMPTY ON SO MANY VEHICLES!
Seriously, why the heck is the 2LRM10 Harasser configured with both LRM's in the 3rd Weapons group?
Same with the Variant with the 2 SSRM6. Same with the Partisan and the AC's/LRM's.
And the Huey. And so on and so on.

This is basically because the weapon groups are configured for the weapon types. So all energy weapons are on group 1, all ballistics are on group 2 and all missiles are on group 3. I'm fine with the way the default grouping works. Regardless witch mech I'm in, I allways will find my missiles on the mousweel and don't have to look at the groups to see witch button I have to press.

It would be really nice is if the mod could remember the last config used for this variant.
I mainly use the Warhammer Prime with the 2 PPCs chainfire on group1, the Gauss on group 2 and the dual M-Laser on group4. It would be really nice if I don't have to reconfigure them every time I step out of the hangar.

i just hate that several vehicles have NOTHING on group 1 and in some cases even group 2.
I ALLWAYS have to switch groups before doing ANYTHING, even IF there's only one kind of weapon.

Is there a posibility to have a command role with a specialised interface in the game?
The best expamle is the Tribes series of games. Where a player can use a interface on it's base to get commander's view with a possibility to issue orders to player and recive info from their sensors.
Tecnicaly there is a command room in mech hangar =) with a shiny 3d landscape projection command screen in the middle.

@Shakes
Extensibility should be added in when they switch development to Wars.

I hope they don't add a commander position. There aren't that many players on each side to begin with even on the largest maps. BF series has 32 players per side and the commander is something that all the mods either removed or turned into an extremely limited role.

Well they did heavily imply it was going to be up with the new site.

Actually, it could be quite interesting. If any detection/targeting limitations(as in this thread) would be implemented, commander with a sort of satellite view of the map could provide coordination and targeting information for the rest of the ream. And small-scale matches could be still without anyone occupying commander post.

Heh, the Mechcommander overlay telling the mechs to go to a specific hex on the map sheet and then having the pilots duke it out in real time in the mechs . . i imagine putting someone you don't like in a raven against an atlas or something ^^

1. Bug Fixes
2. Optimizations

The other features mentioned in the list are nice additions or expansions for a finished product, but not for a beta. First things come first, kill the bugs, optimize, finish the WIPs (cockpits, etc).

Not many bug fix supporters in this thread, it seems. I know I'd rather be able to play for extended periods without a random crash ruining my day, or being able to hit mechs/aeros without them teleporting around, or being able to go full speed all the time in a tank without worrying about sudden tank backflip syndrome, and so on.

Maybe they can sneak in a new medium mech or two. I can live with team deathmatch and the current rotation of maps a while longer.
