It should be just the Osiris.  I'm not sure what the issue is, and I have tried several things on my end to fix it.  I am able to purchase the Nova and Thanny, have you tried either of those?

I have tried reloading the mwllassets database and replacing my mech hangars with no luck.  I'll keep testing and see what I can come up with.  As soon as I can come up with a fix, I'll get new improved versions of both my maps uploaded.

I belive Salv has asked about this problem..and the Devs have mentioned they had to re-export thier maps with the new updates to get them to work again.
So hopefully Salv will either get help from the DEVS to fix the issues or he will solve it ina few days.
As with any major update , there will be bugs and the next week or so will iron alot of them out with hotfixes.
So have a stoogie and smile...as the world still loves BT  , even if it is a little broken atm. ;D

I'm not complaining. . . just pointing out the weak points is all. If I'm whining I apologize if it seems that way.

I'm actually glad to know it isn't just me, and not just my maps.  I have tried exporting the maps again, in the process of replacing the hangars.

I got to play Desolation for the first time yesterday and i only have two questions:

1. Is it supposed to be that god damn dank dark and foggy? O.o
Most of the time, i can barely see the ground i am traveling over. AND I AM A TANKER, THAT MEANS I AM A GOOD DEAL CLOSER THAN MECH JOCKEYS!
2. Can i get you to code in a navigation system? i get lost on that map constantly ^^#

Thank you for your 3 Maps ^^

No. Turn up your brightness and gamma.  All MWLL maps seem a little dark.[/quote]

Huh?  Use the map (M) you are the orange triangle that moves around the map.

What settings are you using?  Have you changed the time of day from default? The time of day should be locked at 1 am.  It should not be dark at all, or too foggy to see.  Check out these screenshots, http://www.mechlivinglegends.net/forum/index.php/topic,7859.0.html .  Those are on high settings, gamma and brightness at default.  I don't have a visibility issue at all.  :/

i don't know about the time of day, i was playing on a server, not mine O.o
and no, it did not look like that O.O;,
If it had looked like that, i would have praised you indefintely instead of complaining <.<;,
Frostbite DOES look similar to that somehow . .
try reinstalling the mod- don't overwrite.
Was that aimed at me?
I did. I started with a complete fresh install of crysis, crysis patches, then installed 0.2.0 then added Salvatoris Maps into the SA Folder.

Oh, while i am posting with you, is there a way to get the old versions of for example Inferno back into the Map rotation IN ADDITION to the new ones?
Because let's face it. The new Maps only share some looks and the names with the old ones and they are all fun to play and more maps of that calibre is allways better ^^
But damn it, i am still getting lost on the new ones <.<;,

When you get a chance, can you try dropping in to the map locally and let me know if you still have the brightness issue.

I think some people changed the time of day to correct an old issue with medium hardware.  Since then I have adjusted the time of day file on the map, so whatever time they had it set to locally is probably no good.  The reason for the specific time of day is that I was getting way overly bright light reflecting off the ice and white fog on the map, on some machines running at medium settings.  The official solution to this issue from crytek is to find a time of day that looks good on your snow map and lock it there.

Hmm, okay, i think i can try that.
Here is the SPAWN ROOM

And here is a look out of the Clan Hangar. From the IS side the same happens

I created my own lan server, i set time of day starting at 12 o clock.
and i tried with time of day disabled.
both times the same happend.

i get the same result
doesnt matter if i use DX9 which defualts the time of day to what ever Salv made it or DX10 and set the time of day my self.
it looks like our PCs are to Uber for this map ....  =)
mind you ..i didnt have this problem until the last update of the map ...then i suddenly had UBER grey as a color scheme ...reminds me of Doom3 =(

It's just the Osiris, still, there's some kind of bug blocking the buy of the mech.

I'm not sure why it's doing that for you guys, but I think I can fix it.  What's common with your two setups that I don't have on any of mine?  Windows7, ATI cards or very-high settings?  Those are things I am not set up to test.

I did change to a new TOD file in the version that started giving Unit issues.  Oddly, it's a time of day file release by crytek for use on snow maps.  I have switched it back on the new, 6 hangar version of the map, but the Osiris issue has the update on hold.  If it's something I can fix on the map, I don't want to have two more versions release in short succession.  If one of you guys want to download it to test for visibility, I'll put the file up.  If the Osiris issue isn't something I can fix on the map itself, this should be the last version of the map for a long time.  I'm ready to move on to a new project.
