Good to see someone acknowledges motorbike in Battletech Universe. 8)
The picture for mechanized Infantry in Battletech Compendium (1640) is a guy on a motorbike.

I would love to see BA on bikes but I can't see it happening :-[

That's actually just Lance Armstrong. He's lost.

I don't know if there are motorcycles in the battletech universe, but I would like to see some for BAs. Just a cheap vehicle that gets them where they need to go very fast. Could also let them fire whatever weapons the BA carries but in a foreward arc.

What on God's green Earth are you smoking?! Do you know how impractical that is? Even if it was canon?! That would require a MASSIVE rework of levels and everything, all for a fapping retarded idea. If you, even for a second, thought that this was a good idea, you need to ride the short bus for the rest of your life.
It's going to a beautiful apocalypse... Especially while I'm piloting a 100 ton war machine belching death from the missile racks and pouring laser death on all who oppose the Clans.

But no, not needed as even if you buy nearly everything for hte BA you'll still have enough cash to hop in a cheap vehicle and get to the battle.  Even better will be the claw...

I was thinking something more bulky and not transformable, like the ones in warhammer 40k. I still like it though. No doubt there are other things more important to add, but maybe I can convince the devs to add them after all the important stuff is in!

You do know this design would bring the japanese studio who made macross come stomping in AGAIN with this. This bike design is from the Macross universe. Just like LAMs are 'unseen' so shall this be becouse the devs could get sued.

The Warhammer is an Unseen too ;)
Harmony Gold doesn't care about non-profit mods, there's quite a few Macross mods for different games out there actually.

BA on a motorcycle is found in WH 40K.

Let's keep it there.

Actually, there IS motorcycles for BA's.  They are called Cyclones and are in Robotech.

The motorcycle forms AROUND the rider when it transforms.

Its not like BT hasent ripped off Robotech in the past ;)  Warhammer anyone?

That's a little complicated, with moto BA example here. Robotech was a rather unusual thing, as it was composed of 3 absolutely different anime series: Macross(the home of Warhammer and Marauder), Southern cross and Mospeada(that's where motoBA are from). So, technically, it's still robotech, but it's not the same part of robotech, from where LAMs and unseens where taken.

lol am I the only one that feels nervous seeing Robotech stuff in an ideas an suggestions post on a Battletech forum? It's like "let's not make this mistake again"

And another thing I was pondering would be the creation of the "ok, you want that? we got that!" server. It'd be a 3rd person, BA motorcycling, NHUA, All mechs equipped server and it would only need to be open for a week. After the first couple days people will go "oh that really sucks" and they would appreciate the main game much more.

I'd totally love to have some more Unseen units in-game. Throw some LAMs in and I'm a happy camper. Seriously: I want LAMs. I don't care how weak they are, I want LAMs.

No worries.  This stuff would never make it into MWLL.  Transforming mech's would be much too difficult even IF the dev team wanted it, and I assure you, they DONT.  I just like the design.
