Wait... Does TA mean Total Annihilation? I loved that game! ;D

EDIT: I played the demo, it's pretty cool

I didn't like it at first, because it doesn't say what units are good against (so you just gotta guess) but after you get used to it, it's really fun
This one time, I sent 10 fighters against 30 gunships, and when none of them died I felt totally badass, not knowing that gunships can't attack fighters :o

I seem to really like aeros, which is weird because in other games, I usually don't touch them unless I REALLY need them
But in SC2, they seem to make up about 2/3 to 3/4 of my forces (maybe it's just the way the demo was laid out :-\)

I'll get it when I got the $ :'(

EDIT 2: I played the demo for SupCom 1. It's like a totally different game!

Still haven't finished the demo, and I don't even know whether it's because I'm a slow builder (Supa Turtle 8)) or because the game just takes a while

Right now, my main weakness is the scale: I'm used to making a barracks, making some guys, and capturing resource points on the map to build more guys. That's what SupCom is X10 :o

Building 10 barracks, 10 air strips and hundreds of soldiers is something that's a little hard to get used to

SC2 is a much more manageable game, but the first one seems to have more quality, and is probably better once you get used to it

Supreme Commander is indeed a very thrilling game to play as you would need to optimize every single unit you have and you can only win with the best strategy. Making the game tough but it is a lot more fun to play. In fact, not everyone can manage all those game play but I heard that Supreme Commander 2 is going to be a lot easier and everyone can have a go at it.

Supreme Commander 2 is just to simple, i know it's for everbody, but most veterans like myself find it...limited, i miss being able to have such a large array of tactics, now i'm limited to using rockheads or some other unit.

beside SC2 bein very limited the thing that very killed it for me is the art style. I do not like it...preiod. I prefer the older SC and FA. Plus getting a buddy and trying to see how long you can turtle this certain pass agaisnt tough AI is rather fun hehe.
