I havn't been able to get any of my Joystick's to work on MWLL. but then again, it may be Win7.

I am now using an Xbox 360 control, and my game has improved ALOT. Anything is better than Mouse and Keyboard.

one really long thread that has some helpful stuff: http://www.mechlivinglegends.net/forum/index.php/topic,6189.0.html

also the wiki has some, but its not nearly complete enough to be useful beyond what you see in the first few pages of that link above.  The main thing to keep in mind at this time is the throttle doesn't really work as it should, so you may consider being like me and waiting for full joystick support as the keyboard/mouse setup works just fine for now.

You need to copy the sample actionmap over from documents/example/x52 or something into your profile and then change a few things to get the throttle working and key assignments as you want them.  basic stuff if you have followed the joystick threads for the past month.  good luck

Where do I find this file? I have read the 20 page thread on joystick 101 and I am lost. I am not a programmer but have a basic understanding of my system. I have a Logitech 3D Pro and want to get it working with the beta. I have looked at the actionmap file in my profile and have no understanding what I am supposed to add or change.

maybe even compile your findings for a new wiki entry and make a new example joystick that we can add to the build. This counts for all finished actionmaps and joystick.cfg file that fully support a joystick. Please do not use profiling software as it comes with many joysticks nowadays but rather use the appropriate joybut assignment in the actionmaps.XML for independant support of 3rd party software.

Cheers guys, all your help is much appreciated to get more joysticks working!
