if you're using vista or win 7 you need to allow it to make changes to your computer, the notification sometime doesn't pop up, check your taskbar for a new icon after you run the installer.

i'm not sure what it's called in vista but in win7 its the consent.exe  took about 20-30secs to load up on comp.

As Seraph pointed out recently, none of the mirrors hosts a corrupted file. This means that if you end up having a corrupt file, the problem must be somewhere on the way between the mirror and your harddrive, sorry.

Ahhh thats not true the fileplanet one REALLY did have a virus. it attacked a bunch of start up files and windows had run a back up program to save it. Maybe they fixed it? I downloaded that one late last night

Ok got the 2nd install to work.... just had to let it sit there for like  5 mins lol

So, we forwarded your report to Fileplanet and here's the answer we received:

Quote
There should be no viruses in the file at all. It's probably because
Active X is required to pull up the download mirror page like every
other site opn the web. I'm 100% it is a false positive with Verizon
Security.

I'd assume the "false positive" applies to AVG as well, in particular as a number of other well renowned AV scanners like Norton360, McAfee, BitDefender did not find anything.
