Where is 'example_actionmaps_for_joystick.xml'

Hi,
   I downloaded Crysis (version1.1.1.6156) [from 'd2d'] and also MWLL Beta 0.2.0. It seems to work up until the 'Home Menu' page of the game. From there I cannot load the MWLL Mod as the 'LOAD' button is greyed out. I  have noticed that the file 'example_actionmaps_for_joystick.xml' is needed to be copied but I cannot find out where it is. Am I missing something here? Thanks in advance.

You need to patch crysis to 1.21 first. Download crysis patch 1.2 amd download, then download and install hotfix 1.21 for crysis. Then install MWLL and find the MWLL shortcut on your desktop and run it.

The version I downloaded from d2d is already patched to v1.21. Any other suggestions?

try making a link to your crysis executable and in its properties add "-mod mwll" to the run line.

the "example_actionmaps_for_joystick.xml" you asked about is from MW:LL 0.1.0 and therefor obsolete Check your "..\Crysis\Mods\mwll\Documentation\" folder for more info on actionmaps or check the wiki here: Actionmaps explained

If you loaded the game and it said Wandering Samurai Studios after it loaded and then had a video in the background playing that was with 'Mechs running around and shooting then the Mod is loaded up and all you have to do is go to multiplayer and use your gamespy account to log in. This seems to be your issue, as the only reason MWLL would be on the Mod list without being able to hit the Load button is if it was already loaded.

I created a gamespy account but it does not let me log in. Seems like it's too complicated getting onto this server. Pointless reviving this great series if things cannot be simplified for those of us who are not technically minded.

Don't get used to them, they are a left over of the debugging we do. Will be removed on the next patch.
