hmmm... if people do that now (lucky for me: Never head this pleasure) than add the new F/X :
Blood split - when you hit the BA nearby your mech it splashes blood nearby obscuring your mech vision :D

I did not joke, I have actually seen people trying to shoot me off their teammates head with UAC20s (or SRMs, LBX and even a Gauss)......

I can see the SRMs and LBX being totally stupid, but not necessarily the gauss. Those things are sorta precise. If you stand for instance on top of a Puma I'm confident I could pick you off with a gauss provided I was not so close so as my angle would point the gauss too much "down".

/Merf - Have been known to put Gauss slugs with extreme precision through friendly and enemy BA alike ^_^;;

4 Elementals on an Atlas? LRM boaters, rejoice!

I'd like to think of that as extra armor for your Atlas ;)

And on a more serious note, I could see this being rather unpleasant, all the little ba buggers have to do is run up to a mech, grab on and slowly but surely start blasting away... while you can do nothing but maybe run into lava to get them off lol. Or to get them off you'd have to have someone from your team shoot at you/them to kill them or knock them off.

Of course some ways to get rid of BA should be aviable, but the main weapons against BA clinging to your mech should always be teamwork with you comrades.
And I think this is a good thing, for it will force people to use something else then LRM and Gauss Boats.
If 2 or 3 Elementals manage to get close to some mechs all only equipted with H-Gauss and LRMs its those peoples own fault if they get shredded to pieces.
This will only boost weapon variety and teamwork.

you should remember that teamwork is rather difficult when not using voicechat...
However, I like the idea of having a BA-claw, and it's pretty difficult getting close enough, but maybe a coolant flush of a specific time could "flush" them of...

That would be a lot like Dead Kitten Armour!  Only it would be Dead BA Armour.

Last night my buddy hitched a ride on my partisan... it was on the extreme map (I think thats the name, the purple low gravity one)... That worked well until I launched my partisan off a cliff like drop and he fell slower then my partisan did lol.

 They already can. Just JJ on a friendly mech and here we go!

I would definitely rather ride on the back then the head or front.

Riding a tank is always fun, but we can't hear the missile indicator so when I look up its like "oh damn thats going to suck..."
