"front view mirror", always-forward facing camera?

One major issue I've run across as a bondsman sitting in for a mechwarrior is with the mechs with more turret rotational movement: it's much harder to see where I'm going if I'm in an Osiris twisted near 180 degrees while running away from a heavier mech - I seem to become a wall-seeking missile.

If the proper answer for this connundrum isn't "learn the map, noob!", might this sort of forward camera be something to consider for a future MWLL release?

 There was similar suggestions before and, afaik, devs are thinking about possibly adding something like that in the future.

What about a rearview mirror type camera that would always show what is directly on the opposite side to the cockpit.
This way you could better watch your back and steer when your torso is fully twisted.

I think we need a rear view camera, BUT it should not be on constantly, just a keystroke and if your not holding it no rear view. That should be enough for navigating around obstacles.  That's how alot of racing games do it, and it would still allow ppl to sneak up on unsuspecting targets.

i would support this if it was at a 45 degree angle pointing down, so it couldnt view things from to far away, and be used to help dodge incoming missiles, just simply im my legs are stuck on some rocks  or are about to be, to assist with the very small terrain features that we all cant possibly remember,


other wise im in the "learn the map you noob" camp in regards to this idea

I agree with the keystroke pulls up a rear view, but its not on all the time

I remember reading in an old MW-Novel of a 360°-view-screen attached on top of the cockpit HUD. I know this will be too difficult  for this game to be realized.
But some how i still like the idea of having sth like that on the field.

I think Crysis engine won't work like this... Did anyone notice rear-view mirrors in original Crysis game?

Yeah it (mw4)had a rear view option, i used it quit a bit to dodge as i ran away from things

i must admit the centre legs to torso command is one i miss in MWLL
