I do get, that he is proposing different backpack choices for BA, but as to what exactly he imagines them to be I have no clue as trying to read his post hurts my brain somehow  :o

This is my attempt to translate.
"Hello, I'm Proxy. I'm a new member here and I had an idea. My idea is relating to backpacks. Hopefully, you'll agree that Battle Armor would benefit from the customization options presented hereafter.
Regular gear: You have no armor, a small jump pack, exhibit no radar signature, and gain your choice between the RAC or the Small Laser. In this configuration, you can't pilot mechs.

Backpacks:
1) You have the standard Jump Jets, standard SRM-2 shoulder weaponry, and a choice of 2 regular weapons. You have limited ammo for the SRMs, more air time, and you can't pilot mechs.

2) "Engineer assist pack" In this configuration, you have no SRMs and a choice of 1 regular weapon and 2 pack items. The pack items are a repair-kit, a Light Gauss turret, constructable AMS turret,  a 500m radar pack with C3, a 500m ECM beacon, land mine, or a snare.

3) "Assault assist pack" In this configuration, you have the choice of the following shoulder-mounted equipment: heavy missile launchers, a heavy weapon, an AMS, or a shield pack. In addition, you get your choice of either dual wielding regular weapons or one of the following heavy weapons: a medium pulse laser with a range of 300m, an SRM-4, a set of duel LRM-2s, a single arrow, an ac5, or a double barrel machine gun. Also you're sped up by 2/3, but the strength of your jets goes down by 3/4 (I'm sure you'll agree that that is barely a jump.)

4) "Recon assist pack" In this configuration, you have no shoulder weapons, light armor, and 1 heavy weapon. This pack has massive speed and air time along with a tiny radar signature. (Detectable at 30m while standing, 15m while crouching, and 200m when in the air.) In addition, this pack comes with a TAG laser built in. This pack adds a reason to implement transport VTOLs.

On a related note, the transport VTOL I propose needs an Engineer to help rearm itself, and carries only 2 tons of ammo but is quick. Should it hover? That's for the Devs to decide."

In response to this well crafted piece of literature, I would say that most your ideas (tastefully worded as they are) are not in the canon. However, your grasp of the English language is commendable, good sir, and I applaud you wholeheartedly. Were you to recommend these ideas as separate types of Battle Armor, I would readily approve. Until then, I leave you.

I want to put a bullet between the eyes of every panda that won't screw to save it's species. I want to open the dump valves on oil tankers and smother all those French beaches I'll never see. I want to breathe smoke. I want to destroy something beautiful.

I think I have a headache now.

Going to lie down....

Seriously though, the devs are kinda strapped to things that are relatively canon; as much as we wish they could do some brand new stuff, they simply can't.

...

You, sir, just made my day! ;D

And Proxy, I like really your ideas(in Zaro's translation ;) ), but as they're too far from BT canon I doubt they could made it into a game. As for ammo transport, APC already has buying zone for ammo and BT weapons around it.
