Well it is sort of a litmus test. If you are having that much trouble guiding a BA to enter a mech then the reflex quotient this game requires for success is likely beyond your skill.
Just because you are so 1337 that you can get into your mech on the first try every time dont mean that everyone is that.
As for my reflexes, they are more than adequate for this game, but not everyone has those superhuman reflexes you aparently have.
Just because you dont like someones idea dont mean you go around insulting them for it.
But I'll just keep my ideas to myself in the future, seems like the best suggestion around here.
The ramp dont have to extend far, and the way things are now I have many times walked into the catwalk along the wall without getting stuck in any way.
It dont have to be a ramp, someone has come up with other suggestions and that was the whole point of me starting this post, to discuss posibilites and ways to make entering the mech from the bay more smooth.
I apparently pass through it somehow.
From the replies I have seen here I have noticed that it can be an annoyance at times, and I'm not the only one here with the problem.
And even though I manage to land on my mech I sometimes find myself falling off again before I can enter it.
Even though I'm close enough to hit the "enter vehicle" button I still see myself, for various reasons not enter, but instead just land on the floor.
I dont remember which mech it was I had at the time, but after some annoying JJ acrobatics, I finally managed to land on my mech
But the landing was apparently a bad one, as I landed between the "arm" and the "Body", something that for some odd reason actually killed me. This in turn is actually counted as suicide.
