I'd love to join the level design department and contribute something to this awesome project, but I'm afraid that finding the time to learn Sandbox2 and then build a level would be..... impossible for me right now. Sad face.

My guess is that even if all you did was design a texture for a building front that would be helpful.  If you could create a smalljeep or a bus or something like that then the level designers could put it in the game!

well, on the PR front I burned off 5 copies of MWLL, with the two crysis patches and the instructions on CD and rubber banded them to the crysis disks at a local electronics store.

Yeah, good one, whitedrake!

I figure our active player base plays for about an hr at a time,, at any one time on avg I see 40ish people playing..   40*24 hrs = 960 active players

if the devs gave us a zipped version with full instructions, playermaps, actionmapper, then we all could burn off 5 copies and stick em with crysis disks at the store..

that would be 4800 new players...

I swear to God this idea was suggested before, and it ran to this conclusion:

Step 1) Several people sneak into stores to plant MWLL copies.

Step 2) Someone gets caught and arrested; MWLL copies confiscated by police.

Step 3) Police discover MWLL is FRICKING AWESOME.

Step 4) Crime runs rampant as police are busy "investigating" the "evidence".

Step 5) Armageddon/Anarchy/Governmental Collapse.

So yeah........we're all doomed.  Great  8)
