Mechwarrior 4: Mercenaries CD-Version for ISW

I do not know a lot of this history. I was never part of ISW. I have never seen the program. But I think I am recognizing some names from the BattleMech Hanger project. Am I correct in this Metro and Grafix?

As I mentioned in my earlier post...Yes, myself and Rot are working on our own project.  Yes, I am part of the BMH development team also. No, Metro and I are not the same person.  Vermatrix knows both of us.  I have even met Vermatrix personnaly when I visited him in California way back when.  I think Vermatrix met Metro but not sure but both of us were in Team Speak ISW investors meetings just like the rest of the other investors.

I was with ISW from the start when Vermatrix was still active duty Navy(but now retired) and I am still Active Duty Air Force.  I was getting messeges about this so I created an account on these forums and posted 1 time to acknoledge "YES" I was a part of the ISW Development and "NO" I am NOT going to comment on the "Throw Vermatrix under the Bus".

That's my standpoint on it, if they want to carry on that's their choice. I'm hardly in a position to stop them.

Edit time has nothing to do with it.  If it was re-uploaded it would have a different attachment ID in the database and would have a new download count starting at 0.  That's how all message boards work.

Now idk what Kingleer did, he probably just hid the attachment, but I do know when you call people liars they tend to post evidence to the contrary.  Aside from being able to link callsigns to names, it's not like any actually pertinent data was released.  Most players don't even care if people know their real name.

On that note, is ISDS still in business or did it close shop?

The point is he reversed an action made by an Admin, and not just an ordinary admin, but the creator of the Mod. Who does that? What does that say about that persons character? That was the point.

You obviously have something positive to offer the community, but this line of posting is not it. I think you should spend your efforts trying to make mech warrior better for the community, perhaps by coming out with the Netmech bundle you were talking about before you were convinced otherwise and before this nonsense began.

I have been asked on outreach how it felt to be thrown under the bus on the fourms, and I have to admit it is getting pretty tedious remaining patient with some of the questioning. I feel like I am at a drum head trial, or perhaps on trial in Salem a couple of hundred years ago.

As for this thread, if people have questions regarding Mercs CD version for ISW, please ask them here. Otherwise lets stay on topic.

So to close out this thread.

ISW currently requires that you have the CD Version of MW Mercenaries installed in order to drop in combat. You will also need the Netmech 4 patch installed. It may be possible in the future to use the free version if someone could bundle it with Netmech 4, however that is not available at this time.

With regards to the "inappropriate document", I believe it is still publically available in this thread, as I just downloaded the .PDF file.

My answer is still no.  None of the people posting here had any bearing on that decision and I've yet to see anything posted that assuages my reservations about doing it.  Again, if you want this done you are more than capable of doing it yourself.  In the past, ISW has performed more complex changes on the mod than what is required to do this.

ISW actually had very little impact on the mod whereas manipulation is concerned.
