Ok I got CryCon 1.3.59 to work.

I also used your server.cfg and put a pw I think somehere I didn't need it because the server I finally got running with your settings with my pw etc, but I don't want a pw as of now, only when conducting league matches. But for now I want it open for anyone to join. So I tried to join it using the password and it said "Failure to connect, map version is different from the server".

Any ideas?

You must ensure the map on your client computer is the same as the map on your gameserver server.

As far as the server being passworded? I want the server open no password.

How do I ensure my maps are the same as on the server? It is my Mods folder I uploaded to the server, thus should equal the maps I have in my Mods folder on my computer... :o

*EDITED*

Thank you for hanging in there Aidan! The server is up and running, now how do I change maps with the CryCon? I hit next map and it had an Rcon error. I am connected with Rcon cause it shows me the server info. Also how do I get the MWLL Maps to choose from show in the Rcon tool?

Do you mean CryRCON? If you are hitting the next map button in CryRCON and you are getting an error, this means you may not have the RCON server on your gameserver server started up. When you configured your CryRCON application to connect to your gameserver server, did you put in the http port number as a 5 digit number? For example, 09016 for http port. The gameport should be the standard 64087. CryRCON is touchy about these port numbers. They should always be expressed as a 5 digit number. The http_pass value should be the password you established with your gameserver server.

With regards to getting the MWLL map list in the pick list of CryRCON, I do not thinks this is possible. At least, I have not figured it out yet. CryRCON was written by a German speaking person, and I am limited by English only speaking capability to get support. BUT, in the blank entry field just below the map pick list, you can issue the RCON command "map sa_frostbite", with out the double quotes and load the MWLL map Frostibite.

Fantastic, thank you Aidan you have been vital to getting the server and working online correctly :)

As for the rcon commands, is there a list of those so I know what each does?

You will find a discussion of the RCON commands in the Crysis Dedicated Server V1.4 download here:

Server not starting up with Mod, Starting in regular CrysisOk so I have uploaded everything as they should be, I have uploaded the config file and levelrotation to the config folder and started the server. I have tried restarting the server but when I load up the mod on my computer and go to multiplayer the server does not show up in the server list.

So I launched regular crysis and went to multiplayer and the server is there up and running. I even joined and everything was running.

Need some help on restarting the server in the Mod not regualr Crysis.

BTW I switched from GameServer.com to XFACTORSERVERS.COM due to some crappy support with GS. I set everything up as we've discussed before and had working on GS. Have any ideas?

Roger, nevermind server is running correctly now, just needed to add the Command line modification and restart :)

They are awesome, blow GS away so far. QUICK technical support responses and work quickly to resolution. Also for a 24 player server with GS was $29, with XF you get a 30 player server for $29 :) Also with GS I had to wait almost 2 days for server details / login details etc, XF I had the info and server setup in 20 minutes after purchase.
