I'm not normally a person that asks for funds, even when I'm late in a match. Still, people sometimes give me money just for the hell of it. I also give people money for the hell of it, when I do really well.
Unfortunately, most of the time, that money is given to me at an inopportune time. The cash comes to me just after I bought a mech or comes to me before I die. In both cases, they can be a boon if I earn more money thank my rank allows, but the latter requires better timing, as the window for certain death is hard to spot sometimes.
Communication and teamwork can solve this, but for the majority of games I play, teamwork is random, ad-hoc, and often without communication.
Therefore, I'd like to see an option where funds given to me are reserved until after I die. It's a matter of circumstances for me. I would more often benefit from having those funds given to me before I choose a mech, but I often feel I don't have the time to sit and beg for money. I would rather just go into battle with whatever I can afford, and if someone's generous, great. I imagine some people like it the way it is, which is why I'd like it as an option instead of the rule.
