I'll tell ya once I get the game. I ordered it on Amazon Tuesday, and usually they ship right away, even with free shipping, but they still haven't sent it out yet...and there's no note that it's backordered. The scheduled ship date is this Tuesday so we'll see.

I agree that money doesn't bring happiness, all I ask is a chance to prove it.

Would love to play but the recent patch made it almost if not totally impossible to play.  Previously I would have to wait 2-3 mins to log into EA thing, then another 3-5 mins for refrehsing the server and have about 60% chance of not getting the "check your connection" crap when selecting a server that I can refresh all day.  Now I go through the same rigmarole as before but now have like a 7/10 chance of just randomly dropping to desktop or getting kicked for PB errors.

So I've given up and gone back to MW2 :)

Ghiest,

I had some connection problems before but now it works very quickly. You may want to manually update your PB by using the PBsetup utility on the EvenBalance website. Also there are issues of slowness when you do a full server browser listing. Dice is working that issue now. I get around this slowness by just pulling out the Server History list on the right hand side of the Main lobby. Since I mostly play on the same servers, my history listing is much shorter than a full server listing and it is much quicker to get on a server. For logging in, my login process takes 2 mouse clicks and I am in! Getting into BC2 is much faster than BF2 or MW.

You may want to check your configuration. Something seems not quite kosher.

Cheers,

Aidan  :)

I'm all installed!

Handle: Shirtninja

I'm having graphical glitches that are making it impossible to see whats gooing on it the game. I'm updating my drivers. I hope it's something as simple as that.

I'm good to go. The updating of the drivers did the trick...I really suck at the game though...

So did I at first. Try to join into a squad. If you spend 200 hours in a squad, you will get 5000 points.

Team work will help you rank up faster.
