I'm good to go. The updating of the drivers did the trick...I really suck at the game though...

So did I at first. Try to join into a squad. If you spend 200 hours in a squad, you will get 5000 points.

Team work will help you rank up faster.

Yea, I always join a squad. I think I might be a little rusty...and of course I haven't unlocked anything yet.

I'm an old hat Battlefield player though. I started with 1942, played Vietnam, BF2, and BF2142. As well reviewed as this game is (and the graphics and destructible environments are awesome for sure) I can't help but be a bit disappointed. I definitely see the console gamer influence. Also, no prone position, no jets, and the maps are pretty clausterphobic compared to the vast battlefields of the games I'm used to in this series. Still, I'm sure it'll be fun, but I don't know if it'll keep my attention for the same length of time as, say, BF1942. I played that game for over 2 years! Of course, what game could hope to achieve its epic scope. A massive number of huge maps, artillery, cruisers, battleships, submaries, fighters, bombers (hell I remember how charged up just listening to the game's score got me)...obviously many of the aforementioned equipment would be inappropriate for a game set in the modern era. Still, I was hoping BF1943 would reset that old fire...what a f#@king disappointment.

Anyway, I hope to see some of you on the battlefield. It's the teamwork that makes these games go from moderately fun to awesome!

Add me to your friends list and we'll hook up.  The game rocks but you gotta have a good squad.

I'll try to start adding some of you folks this weekend

I generally play as either Medic or Engineer because I like support roles.... well that or I like the M60 and rocket launchers :)

plus recently I've started liking to play on Hardcore mode servers, just like I did for Call of Duty, because that way it doesn't take half or a full clip to kill just one guy!

HC seems to = sniper or ntube. In larger maps, the sniper rifle and the 1911 are 1 shot kills, and the tube kills so easy in HC...and to boot, the assault kit resupplies himself! Endless tube.

I'm having a bit more fun with it now that I'm getting used to the map layouts a bit better, and getting some better gear. I still have to level off my k/d ratio though. A negative k/d...just ain't right.

I seem to find HC means less noobtoobing...well less accurate noobtubing because of the lack of cross hairs so those that arent so good at it completely fail. Your right though when it comes to snipers, HC mode seems to really favor them but i still prefer it to the standard gameplay.

The only thing i really hate on BFBC2 is kill cam completely pointless its fair play if someone finds a good spot to hide. Which is quite difficult in the first place seeing as everything can be blown up.
