I can't even play the game anymore due to legging. It just isn't fun to get legged 80% of the time. I mean sure, leg me, but kill me after instead of leaving me there. Sure people will argue it is fair game, but those are the people that love to exploit terrible game mechanics to prove they are the "best".

Hopefully the leg armor gets boosted, because getting legged as a primary tactic nearly every time I grab a 'Mech seems like a broken game to me. I don't think everyone has to agree with me, but if you think legging as a primary tactic is fun then you have issues.

1. Shooting the 'main' weapon off mechs, like the Hgauss on the Hollander and Thanatos, or the AC/20s on Osirises and Shadowcats. Or blasting rocket launchers on poptarting Catapults.
2. Rear armor, especially on Pumas.
3. Legs, especially on poptarts.
4. The huge cockpit on the Atlas.

I like the way a few shots to the leg cripples the leg reducing movement to a few kms per hour, but I think it should be much harder to blow the leg right off. It seems plausible that lots of damage would cripple leg function but implausible that it would simply blow away a leg, which is essentially a metal rod so thick it could support a bridge.

Totally agree on this.
But, well, the inside of the leg has to be light, otherwise it would be really slow to move...

But I like the mechanic that you speak of.

Since I like to skulk about in a Shadowcat, I like taking out:
A) Rear Armor
B) Novacat Arms
C) Hollander HG
D) Catapult missile racks
E) Longtoms (but only with the help of one other light/medium, since the Longtoms can take some punishment)

1. Missile packs on the Catapults, or any missile boat. Love to see those missiles fly everywhere when it pops.
2. Big gun on the Holly, especially satisfying with the HGauss one everyone seems to love so much.
3. Arms of the Novacat or Awesome.
4. The back plate of any mech, but especially the Holly. Since it's more human-like the the other mechs in its proportions, I think of it as putting a bunch of LBX20 shots into the back of someone. And then he explodes in a spray of blood. But the blood is in my mind. MY MIND!

Also I'd like to add that I love to shoot BAs when they inevitably eject from their mechs like cowards. Wait until they're at the peak, then BAM!, chunky BA.
