Your voice is really soft, like what I would expect listening to NPR or something.  Seems informative though for people new to the game!

Also one possible suggestion, it would be neat to actually see the models of the mechs you're talking about instead of just having your mouse hovered over the mech in the video as the viewer is watching and listening along.  It might require some edit work though so people don't see you constantly suiciding to be able to purchase each new mech unless you were to modify your custom server so they're free or something :)

I'll try it out but currently using a pirated Fraps and Windows Movie making.
Question: 1.Whats NPR?
                 2. Please tell me how to mod for free Cbills and how would you like me to do the view of the mechs?

but then i would be doing an off and on of reloading the map and not enough money for pulling out all models of the mech unless ya suggesting only bringing out one and then reviewing with the other.

BTW I find it hard to belive i sound like a radio jockey lol

Maybe start with being outside in elemental so people know what it looks like from the ground and on the field after they purchase it, then hop in and show off the weapons display and fire a few rounds off with some of the weapons maybe

if you eventually find the cbill thingy that would certainly be easiest, maybe check in the forum for dedicated servers.  Here's one post I found which may help: http://www.mechlivinglegends.net/forum/index.php/topic,7348.msg100053.html#msg100053

otherwise you can use the suicide tactic from the map screen rather than restart the map and then use a video editor to chop out the bits where you're suiciding and then overlay your voice track on top of it.

I've done a screencast before to demo a program I did, where I actually waited to do the voiceover work later after recording the video so it matches any edits you want to make. Then after your video edits are done, you playback and start the audio recording at the same time and just talk through what you already video recorded.  Avidemux is good for the video editing, and Audacity is good for the voice recording and editing and both are available in windows, linux, and mac flavors.  I'd suggest going this route since it also lets you redo your voice track if you aren't happy with it or if you mess up the first time.

We are in dire need of a urban combat map, tall buildings and ambush points, places where the short range mechs can actually hide and ... be useful.  My hope is it resembles the Mechwarrior 5 Trailer in the density and size of the buildings, that would be truly awesome.

um did the database mess up and swap this topic with another or did we just experience a couple of confused mechwarriors who had one too many PPCs?
