Ok so i was thinking the other day about what maps i would like to make in the future. I couldnt decide on where to begin so i figured id ask you all. Ill list what i already have here then you can suggest maps or vote for ones you would like to see . If the ideas are original and fleshed out enough ill go ahead and add them to the poll.
SA_AbandonedFirst up im already working on an urban battle map with some open spaces around the city. It will feature a dropship of the clans and a military base/city in a valley. with some hills between the city/base and the dropship. Lots of roads overpasses and even some sewer systems. Blown out buildings for mechs and even some with fire escapes and rooms for BAs to pass through.

Also i am working on a zero gravity ship to ship level. It will feature two ships with debris between them and each ship will sport a grav deck. As close to cannon as i can make it with the decks and what not. It will focus on BA and aero combat and will provide a look into other combat scenarios in the BT universe outside of mech combat.
EDIT: Currently im working on this more as it will be in a beta phase much sooner than the others. I already have the Achilles class dropship here worked out almost complete with interiors.
SA_FactoryThis would be a recreation of the mechwarrior 3 level that has you go through an underground mechfactory. i Always loved that level and thought that it would be an awsome enviroment with no lights save for the overhead lamps and mechs with their own. It would provide for a very intense closer ranged combat level. I would like to model it as close to MW 3 cave as i could.

This is one i can easily whip up. I have already got the terrain done and even tweaked the physics to simulate water like buoyancy. Jumpjets will carry you futher in water (ala turbines keke) and you fall slower. Here among a chain of newly formed islands and geothermal generators are at stake. Intense sea and land battles intermingle here with both great visability above the surface of the waves and close foggy brawling below in the depths.
Next on the to do list is the base designs and the rest of the coral reef.
OK so there ya have it two maps im in the progress of makeing. Im fairly far along with Abandoned but i have to work out the overpasses more and then some of the larger buildings. Void is now closer to beta than Abandoned due to my wanting to develop the ships and see what the dev team thinks about them. I have the gravity worked out however i didnt not include the grav decks in void due to the fact that only jump ships have them and the ships i have are dropships. Jumpships would just be TOO big for this type of thing. Though i might havea single drops ship boarding a jumpship for another level one day.
