I'm pretty sure he's asking when's/what's the new Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance.

It's in there somewhere, you have to kind of squint your eyes.

To answer what I assume is the question, there's really been no info on it other than to say it's being considered.  Atari currently has the license, and haven't really released any info.
Played MWLL for Guillermo del Toro.

well it was made by bioware, and they are now owned by EA, ea have a habbit of letting old IP's( intelectual properties ) die , tho they have a campagne atm to revive a few fan favriots

atm the closest thing you will see is "dragon age origins" even tho its a diffrent IP , it would be as close to how bioware would make the game if they made a new one
I agree that money doesn't bring happiness, all I ask is a chance to prove it.

there was a sequel to it: http://ps2.ign.com/objects/546/546071.html

another similar set of games which is actually based on the Everquest universe I think but very same gameplay on console is Champions of Norrath, which also had two games I believe released.

now if you want more recent games similar to this for PC, that is to say Diablo clones, there's a few good ones out there that are pretty cheap. Titan Quest and Torch Light I hear are both excellent and can be had for like $20 USD.

I personally own Baldur's Gate 1 and 2. I also have Champions of Norrath: Realms of Everquest as well as the sequel to that, Champions: Return to Arms. I also have Ace Combat 5, and have played through 4. I think 4 does indeed have a better storyline than 5, at least from what I've seen.

In Champions of Norrath, I managed to find 2 Katanas of Steel Sleet. Additionally, switching back to Baldur's Gate 2, I have all the good gems for making items, so that's all awesome...

Pro Tip #2 and #3:

Make sure you have another controller.

Make sure you have a close friend, as playing through both games will lose you one.
