Probably in two years.

Yes, that's the point in the development cycle you find yourself.

Deal with it.
Thanks for the view.

Rest assured sir, that even if the world ends there will be a final release, even if it has to float through space looking like this:

As you can see, legging will still be included.

Actually, the devs have intimated that despite the fact that this game has been in development for several years, and hundred of man-hours have been put into it, they won't actua--OF COURSE THERE'LL BE A FINAL RELEASE Dx<

Of course there will be! Although if the final version isn't out by the time the actual MW5 game is out, you'll see a lot less players on at any given time.

@muffin: Well, that depends on how good mw5 will be and if they come to an agreement with the Robotech-People in Japan.
But I doubt that. This conflict is as old as FASA.

Hooray for conflict and as Seraph points out there will be a FINAL release but keep in mind that FINAL is finished, done, no more, it's over and then we'll have to wait another decade for another mech game. So alas I'm happy with the beta and the periodic updates that continue to improve it  but I'm not that crazy about FINAL. Cause then the dev's will have stopped and we all know what happens when the devs stop.  :-X

Who says the devs will suddenly stop? >_>

These days just because a game is "Version 1.0" and is considered "Complete" doesn't mean that it sits and stagnates for all time :P

I dont think people should give a damn about the final release to be honest, and definately shouldnt hold off playing the beta because their waiting for a 'complete' game. Think about how long Counter-Strike was in beta for, and how good a game that was through most of its beta stages.

Agreed. And just think about it that way: MWLL has already higher quality and less bugs then most "final releases" the big ones (EA *cough*for example) throw at us  ;D

This is something that makes me wonder actually.
Why the hell are people whining about crashes every 2-3 hours (in a mod), when the new AvP crashes about twice to three times as much and Warhammer online disconnects me (and most others I know) 1-2 times every hour, just as some examples.
Never arm once what you could arm twice.

Not even saying about Empire Earth which doesn't work at all for me because of odd anti-piracy system (NEVER buy gold edition of this crap!) and Hearts of Iron 3 which at the day of release was entirely unplayable for about 50% of users, and after 3 patches the AI was still dumb as hell building billions of transport ships for no reason (what made this game a disaster, cause majority of fun was suppose to be the SP mode, not multi).
