they main reason i vote for "this or that" is the balancing nitemare when you start adding
lots of gadgets and total freedom of configuration. some items might be weak by themselves
but a combination of some leads to unexpected balance problems.
all "sucsessful" competitive games i can reckon are very straight forward and conservative with
their equipment. quakeworld(+teamfortress), quake 3, counterstrike. so far only Blizzard managed to balance a
loaded game (Starcraft) and it took em ages.
maybe MWLL could have a stricter ruleset for matchplay, and have all the aditional fun stuff for pubs
