Have it with only able to fire whilst crouching perhaps, though if not, watching someone jump jet and fire one I would suggest be as hilariously cataclysmic as it sounds.

they're weird and they're interesting. and can be loaded up with pretty much anything.  spray someone down in petrochems then light em up, spray a friendly down with water or coolant to keep em cool, spray an enemy down in acid to eat away at the armor, spray them with paint to give their cockpit a fresh new unwanted coat.

Speaking of acid, there is an SRM payload that is comprised of acid, designed to eat away at Ferro Fibrous armor; it is ineffective against the standard variety, however.  Adding different types of missiles and other ammunition could add a very wide variety of choices to the game without having to program new effects and physics.  There are different types of both missiles and autocannon rounds that can be introduced, and there could be a server-side setting that enables or disables special ammunition (and other items, similar to MW4: Mercenaries).  In this sense, if not everyone likes the level 3 rules or advanced/experimental equipment, they can choose which type of server they would like to join, knowing in advance what is available there.

Directional Jump Jets like in MW2

Personaly i wouldnt want to see too much equipment and weapons added.
keep it simple and balanced
tho, depends what plans the MWLL team has with the game. either competitive game
or "weapons factory" style pub game

SWORDS DAMNIT! AXES MACES GIANT CLUBS I WANT MY MECHWARIOR BRAWLFEST!!!!!

Ok on a serious note i want to see various ammo put in. Also i am a lover of melee ,so if at all possible i would love to be able to punch or slash at my enemies mech. I think this is doable with some custom animations but then again im not on the dev team so i dont know all the coding limits.

Also some specialized armors and engine choices in the mechlab would be a must for a guy liek me i LOVE to customize.

hehe
they main reason i vote for "this or that" is the balancing nitemare when you start adding
lots of gadgets and total freedom of configuration. some items might be weak by themselves
but a combination of some leads to unexpected balance problems.
all "sucsessful" competitive games i can reckon are very straight forward and conservative with
their equipment. quakeworld(+teamfortress), quake 3, counterstrike. so far only Blizzard managed to balance a
loaded game (Starcraft) and it took em ages.

maybe MWLL could have a stricter ruleset for matchplay, and have all the aditional fun stuff for pubs
