Working on map

I'm working on a map the name is not final so if u come up with a better name tell me. Here is a screenshot let me know what you think.

looking good..   bit green, but that might be my monitor..    I need more cover though. :)

well... it's deserted, I guess. ;)
Mountain on left of pyramid and the oasis look weird... unnatural. But other than that - pyramid is very nicely fit into terrain :)
And yea, sand doesn't look like sand.

It's ALIEN sand you myopically minded folk!  It's ALIVE!  Not many deserts have cover although maybe some canyons would be nice.

Interesting, the pyramid makes it seem rather alien.

mars color now offsets the rocks ...the rocks them selves should be red as well as they are ment to be the weatherd remains of the landscape over time and weather.

IS Commander 2 : No idea .....but i propose we nuke the SOB from space & move on to the next planet.

I don't know if the picture in the first post is the one everyone has been commenting on (it doesn't look like it... sand? Pyramids? Not seeing any...), but I just thought I'd ask if a snow map is what you're intending to do, since we already have Frostbite, and community maps Desolation and Glacier front?

If I was asked what kind of map I'd like to see (and I realise I'm not being asked, lol...) I'd say something like that level in MW4 Mercs where you're investigating the Jade Falcon presence on a planet..

Lush trees, lots of water inbetween the rising land masses, winding streams etc though it might end up looking like extremity with a marshes/clearcut skin on top of it.

I'm sorry I changed to snow setting, I never played any mech games before this one and this is my first map ever for crysis engine so i'm learning as I create. This map is really small only 2km x 2km mostly a brawling map, not that I don't like the other maps but the favor long range weapon more.

2km x 2km?  That is kinda small, are you putting base turrets up cause they can reach out pretty far.  On the same note, it'd put up walls or put the base in a cave so people won't just poptart from the base.

The base are in a cave protected by walls and there no turrets il probaly put a third wall in front of them to make some sort of T entrance because while we tested it it was really easy just to camp the entrance.

I'm about to release it but I have some problems with some brush that you can go tru even if my scaling is even
