Good advertising, I've been on your server a few times, liked it. ;)

It's not even my units server, but I like that those guys are pushing community made maps.  It keeps things interesting. Huntress has 90 minute maps including clear cut and a speedy 18 player cap if you want a different experience than Fed suns or boss.

I just tried Fed Suns.

The 290 ping was no fun, but the maps themselves were.

Thanks for sharing the server with us.

SJ is planning on running a server awareness week to get our server populated once everyone's finished with their exams. We aim to provide a solid server with consistent teamwork and a noticeable admin presence.

Played on Huntress yesterday and totally enjoyed the experience. Lots of teamwork on both sides; SJ made it easy to play as a team. Thanks SJ for hosting the open server.

Quick techie question: do you guys have a server management program that can be run internal to the game, things like map changes, player kicks /  bans / timeouts, game mode switch, spectating, player logs, etc...

Not to my knowledge Checker.  We're fairly new to server management.

Why are people running servers that are 1.5 hours?

This is what is killing me.  I used to be able to get in 2-3 maps a night, now only 1 map.

I hate Aircraft in this game, if I die from one, I leave.  I wish I could just fire back at them from a Mech.

No joke Buzz, I love about 50 mins for a match, beyond that it just feels like a drag.  The common argument I've seen is that the "short" timed games don't let people get to their assaults :p

Which is bullshit, since it takes like 15 max to get a heavy :P

New idea- would I be able to use an external hard drive to add RAM and/or improve gigahertz?

I suppose :P

But then again, should they expect to be driving around a pristine atlas the first time of playing? I dont know, maybe thats slightly elitist of me, but i kind of think people should be rewarded and not expect to get everything the first time they play. Makes getting better so much more rewarding.

Also, for any new guys reading this, im more than willing to play a few practice games with you.
