:P Only river sharks.

But dont worry, it is scaled to BA size. The trees are slightly bigger to make them more impressive, but most other assets are not much larger. Its all been tested using external camera to make sure bas dont look ridiculous, and you dont have to worry about massive grass patches being taller than BA, obscuring vision.

Heres a shot to prove im not telling fibby lies.

Also, heres a teaser of the centre base, heavily wip

I cant get the time of day working ingame ingame... so i cant take better screenshots. I apoligise, but thats the best i can give you tonight.

you'll have to do some finesse in the LOD's and view distances...Jungles are very resource intensive mainly because of the grass...which if you just scale down the view distance starts to look weird

The dev team caught a lot of flak for overscaling objects and textures early on.  The same "alien world" argument was brought up in defense.  Alien only works if the object is actually alien, not a scaled object that most of us already have an established sense of proportionality about.  End result, 10' blades of grass and cockpit sized leaves just looked corny, and it made a mech feel like the nano-suit, and a BA felt like an ant at a picnic.  You should scale everything from the BA perspective or it loses realism.  Early screenshots of Marshes got slammed for the features this map offers.

That said, I'd love some real tree warfare.  Especially if we can implement some ewoks.  :)
+100 to the Ewok idea.

lookin good so far...

I suck!! But WE are AWESOME.  We started a unit.  What's that?!  YOU WANNA TOUCH MY UNIT?!! :P ^^12thVR Recruitment Page(clickthepic) ;)

Did some mock ups of what the map would look like during the warmest, dampest windiest period at midday, assuming i can get dynamic stuff working.

Hehehe, yea, this would be great :) Count me in! :)
Map looks lovely so far! I love the climate it has. Nice work with buildings there - something that brings the scale :) very nice
One random tip to the screen: Inside of forest (or even: on a sides of forest road) put dark ground, not green grass :) it should look more natural.

Heres another few teaser shots. Ive redesigned the main central area, and now it flows much smoother.

Also, crabs.
