Its not really within the means of the engine as it stands to make forests of indestructible trees...
Marshes only has indestructible tress! And the engine surely has the capabilities to set up an entire forest of destructible trees. Its the number of Clients that the data needs to be sent to from the server, that is the issue.

Sorry that was a typo on my part, because taranis is a map based around indestructible trees lol.
Yes, you set up a forest of them, but the server would practically die from the physics if a core explosion happens in the middle of them, its bad enough on frostbite and clearcut as it is, even where the trees are selectively used and kept at a minimum.
Sorry, its probably my poor word choice and typos that made my last post pretty indecipherable.
Been working on Taranis today - I have started working on other areas of the map now, the main island needs some small texture work and some lights for the night time but other than that, its practically done.
Expect another closed beta release on IRC at some point.
