I've slaved myself for this game! Installed Crysis... twice. Ran around the interwebs because I lost my CD key. Got one. Downloaded Beta 0.2 using the "Direct" download. It takes 7 hours to download, open it and the file is damaged. Got BitTorrent, downloaded it using the "Torrent" option. YAY! ITS WORKING! Installed!

I open up the launcher, hit the "Start, 32-bit". The screen turns black... oh boy!

"Crysis has encountered a serious problem, would you like to send an error report?" So can somebody tell me whats up.

Explain what you did in more detail. Then we may give you more help.

Also, does clean Crysis run for you?

PS: I hope you didn't die!

Make sure your graphics card has the latest drivers. That fixed a lot of my crashing problems when I first got the game.

also, run crysis and make a profile there first before trying to load straight into MWLL, it'll make your life a lot easier.  If you don't have a crynet/gamespy ID, do it in normal crysis first.

I had an identical problem with my new rig running Windows 7 x64 Pro.

Do you by any chance have AVG installed?

AVG works great on Windows 7 x64, Crysis run great on it too, but Windows 7 x64 + AVG = NO CRYSIS. There is no workaround i've found that actually works.

If you do, find another AV program.

Thanks, got patch 1.21 and it works fine now :D This game has made me come to realize how horrible I am at PC games

Also, anything under 75kph seems to slow for me. Anything a light mech/medium can do to help late in the game? And I also declare ownership of the "PPC Jump". While jumping with the BA, shoot your PPC down and you fly 2x as high.

C3 scouting very valuable. Combine that with a role of harassment.

lights and mids in the right pilots hands are devastating slashers that can rip the heart out of artillery/lrm boats late game.   ALWAYS need a flanking force.

There is a way to get it working with AVG, I think you need to set an exclusion to some of the Crysis and/or MWLL folders though.

Thanks for including Xbox 360 controls devs, although I don't know why Targeting is on both left trigger and B. Im gonna change it so:

RT: Group 1
LT: Group 2
RB: Group 3

Otherwise controls work good. Demolisher Prime is awesome.

If you are running AVG and Windows 7, you need to set your Documents/My Games folder to be excluded. Also try running the MWLL Launcher as Administrator.

To manage your exceptions in AVG Free You can do this by opening your Component Overview, selecting Resident Shield, Double Click or right click then Open. Select Manage Exceptions. Under 'Resident Shield Directory Excludes' click Add Path.

C:\Users\UserName\Documents\My Games\Crysis\

I believe this can also affect other AntiVirus programs.

While no one has "declared ownership" of it so far, you're not the first one to find out about it or use it...
Not by a long shot ::)

Till mid game the AC20 Osiris when used well can be devastating (not on it's own, but in a role of support for friendlies).
Through whole game - Shadowcat (any variant) or C3 Mech - these two are a things team always need :)
