And I also declare ownership of the "PPC Jump". While jumping with the BA, shoot your PPC down and you fly 2x as high.

While no one has "declared ownership" of it so far, you're not the first one to find out about it or use it...
Not by a long shot ::)

The PPC recoil is actually best used for mid air direction change, that way you can dodge the inevitable fire at the apex of your jump when you're "floating".

Also, anything under 75kph seems to slow for me. Anything a light mech/medium can do to help late in the game?

Owens B is great.
Very fast thanks to the MASC, has C3 and the SRM rock the enemies screen so it can ruin their aim when fireing on your friends.
Just make sure you get behind cover fast if someone gets annoyed by you.

Owens C and Osiris B are good, too.
Don't try to kill your enemies, but rather cut off their arms and weapon pods and finish already damaged torsos. Great against BA, too.

Lights and mediums are useful in the late game, just make sure you never go out alone, and try not to drag attention.
Never arm once what you could arm twice.

In Lyran Commonwealth, Atlas scouts you.

True, Delta. Lights can be a real Heavy and Assault killer if utilised properly. Speed, cover and element of surprise -- that's the things, that makes "assault hunting" possible. My personal favourite is Kit fox(aka Uller) Prime. It's SRM6 can fire every second, resulting in a huge damage output. There are also LBL for long range firepower and 2 SBLs and LBX5 for some close range harassing/BA hunting. Don't forget, that it has GECM and BAP, meaning you can see any assault before it sees you. And it's fast enough to be a hard to hit while circling around an assault.

Thanks, got patch 1.21 and it works fine now :D This game has made me come to realize how horrible I am at PC games

Glad you are up and running but you can't claim something I've been using forever already!!!!.. :P

Do you by any chance have AVG installed?

AVG works great on Windows 7 x64, Crysis run great on it too, but Windows 7 x64 + AVG = NO CRYSIS. There is no workaround i've found that actually works.

There is a way to get it working with AVG, I think you need to set an exclusion to some of the Crysis and/or MWLL folders though.

AVG, Norton and McAfee are all crap.
UNINSTALL IT!
Put MS Security Essentials on W7 64.
Free and is no hog at all. Plus you can disable real time protection easily.
