All Points Bulletin

Alright, so who all preordered it here and got the Keys to the City? ;D

Also who is annoyed about it being delayed 48 hours practically five minutes before it was due to start?

Final question - who is actually going to be in the EU servers? :P

I was hyped about the game a few years ago when it was first announced.  Since then I've completely dropped it from my "to play list".  Really felt like they messed up the release timing of the game.

I betaed this mother, so...take it from me. You don't really want this game. It's fun for a few minutes, but after a couple of hours it loses it's shine. Customization options are balls-out monkey cheeze crazy. Everything else is kinda meh. It's not GTA online, which is what you really want.

I looked forward for this game. Until I tried the beta.

It's probably the biggest letdown I've played in a while. It runs like shit, looks like shit, has about 5 missions that repeat (run here shoot this guy 5 times, hold this place for 7 minutes, chase this guy), Enforcers and criminals are ridiculously imbalanced, Enforcers can only make money by reacting to criminal activity, the vehicles handle like bricks made of neutronium, there's insane lag, and it's pay to play. The only good things about this game is that there's more than one way to pay for a subscription, and the customization (which IMO, has a clunky interface).

Well, been playing for about 8 hours now...

Vehicles dont handle well, but thats good or everyone would be able to be good at them.  I think its good that people have to actually learn to handle them rather than making them easy.

Yes, missions are repetitive.  I'm sure they'll add many more or people would leave in droves.  So I'm not worried about that.

Really its just a joy game.  Play it to have fun with friends.  Me and about 5 of my friends play it and just roll through mission after mission annihilating everyone.  It's even more fun when you're on the team with less players.

Would I play it for competition?  No, far too easy.  It's quite a bit like any ol CS:S game with spray and pray weapons etc etc....  Makes it easy to learn and play.  But like i said, it's fun just to roll around with friends blowing stuff up.

there is a lot of room for additions to the game, so I wouldn't say it's limited.

I actually went through four trials, and I love it. Apparently I'm an epic car driver but I suck at shooting, so I was always driving in the missions while the others shot the other guys that were running away with the monkey hearts!  ;D I'm getting this game, hopefully. Not keen on paying for time.

Got to say that it seems the divide in opinion is easy to spot - I went in with three friends, and we loved it. Alot of the people who went in solo though didn't really have as much fun. Though there are automatic grouping mechanics in place, and plenty of clans/guilds/whatever around, it really seems that this game is geared towards people in groups.

Apparently though they are looking into making the game more appealing to solo players :P

I'm off on the EU servers D:>

Believe me, I'd be on the US servers if the lag wouldn't slaughter me x3
