As a Beta player you should know that there is 2 different kind of server rules.

The Chaos server rules, allows you to kill anyone you want too, even if their not on the same mission.

*Walks up to Zaro and blows him away, and then makes a Battletech Emote, cause I'm cool like that*

Sadly, Chaos wasn't in the "preview" beta. I can't wait for the Chaos worlds to be finalized! See who bitches that "They're getting killed by randoms." Everyone's going to whine, and it'll be all because of me! *Evil laughter*

Chaos wasn't in Beta. I guess you don't need to balance chaos. But yeah, I was a fairly decent player, despite not having the best gear due to not really playing the game often. What I'm really trying to say is that I found the game less than fun. To say a beta was unpolished would be retarded, but it honestly felt like there was so much else they should have done in all aspects...but just didn't.

Oh, and when you get a chance: N-Tec - 3 upgrade slots, fill it with +Fire Rate, +Ammo Capacity, and +Damage. You'll be an unstoppable killing machine at all ranges. Everyone will rage.

ugh... i think i'm through with this game...

it's based 100% on level and 0% on skill...

i'll probably finish out my 50hrs then never have to suffer through tard again

rank is 100% relevant...  If you're not high enough rank, you dont get the better weapons.  There's been many a time when I'm using the NTEC 5 vs someone of higher rank, and he has survivor upgrade, an NTEC with 2-3 upgrades, and I'll still be the first to start shooting.  Who wins?  He does obviously.  There's simply nothing I can do against that.  Except try to grab a sniper... but it's so easy to get cover in this game sniper is hardly ever worth it 1v1

I have more skill, they simply win by better weapons (from higher rank)

Faction standing determines what weapons you get, rank is like "I play this much." Savage 3 only makes a 2-bullet difference on alot of weapons, which is pretty funny. Dampening and Spray'n'Pray are the upgrades ya want. :P And yes there is somethin' ya can do, be smarter than they are.  ;D

By the way. My car show was win.

sad thing is, i'm generally always smarter than they are... (which is how i'm usually the first one to fire)  :(

Finally got my "undertaker", but I cant even use it yet... only lvl 85, need 100.  That's how they tie in faction standing to rank to ultimately make it rank based.

It's better to work on faction standing for a bit to rank up, working on maxed contacts raises it. :) I was rank 150 before I got my Undertaker.
